Hi Bobby, and that is my dads name and some people still call him that. It is a fun youth type of thing I guess. Well my point Bobby is that I don't even know you. I have seen you here and your writings and they are quite remarkable. I will say a prayer for you tonight. I am not that religious but I am spiritual and I do believe that praying and positive attitudes DO help in many ways. You seem like a special person Bobby. I am fairly new here.
I want you to know that as the long time contributor that you are that you are a very respected person to me and all of the others here. We are all with you as much as we can be.

HIYA, after 93 days in the hospital and nursing home I am finally back home sitting at my desk looking out on the calm waters of Lake Iwanttobethere. Looking forward to catching up on what is going on here at the board and passing on to you what we have missed here at the lake, The Resort and of course the Lodge. To make avery long stoey ahort I had an infection/blister on my calf that grew to the size of my hand. When it popped I was left with a crater in my leg that ate away the muscle tissue. I now go to a wound care clinic and it will be months befor it closes up. I almost died in the hospital because of the infection and high temp that I had, I do not remember about 21 days in the hospital, I am very lucky to be alive. But I hope that is all behind me now. Thank you for checking up on me and I hope to post a story here soon..
-
Super great to hear from you again. Hope things get better!!;

I think you're in luck. I thought I saw 60 degrees later this week. That should rejuvenate the spirit about as well as anything. Best of luck as you recover and good luck fishing.

Hiya, well like a patch of weeds that keep growing up in a crack in your sidewalk I am back! A week in the hospital and then another three weeks in rehab over a stomach virus that messed up my blood chemistry. I am back at the cabin after missing pretty much the entire summer. Sunshine Ray is forecasting three nice days in the seventies here and I have a ton of stuff to catch up on. First off was a quick few lines to let you all now I am back and will be catching you up on the doings here at Lake Iwanttobethere
-
Great to have ya back! Keep on trucking!

Doing a double dose of chemo here this month, figured it was a quiet time and I could get it out of the way. Might have bit off a little to much as side effects are terrible. I was lucky last time as I had no side effects but this time I have lost the strength in my legs to get out of bed with out help and it is nothing for me to sleep 36 hours or more. This sounds real good but then I am awake for 36 hours stuck in bed. Still better then being on the other side of the grass if you ask me. Stories will be feast or famine just to give you a heads up. Ten days down 30 more to go.. :thumbs:
-
Hang in there bobby, you'll kick it's butt!! :happy1:
-
Ya hang in there.
-
Keep on fighting Bobby!!!
-

Well the rain did not fall today but it sure did yesterday, the garden center my daughter works at was flooded and they had to sandbag the garden section from the main store took the most of last night and all of today to clean up. Daughter was not a real happy camper when they got to the outside drains and cleared away the crap that never should have been there.
Tomorrow is of course Fathers Day and I hope all of you have outstanding ones. Bobby
