When I told my neighbor they were taking mine, said I was crazy. Those and the stoopid skwirrels take 'em, too...or just eat a hole in 'em. A Hi-V pellet gun and some free time is a must...

markn,
Are you going to hunt this guy. He looks pretty big to me.
-
deadeye, my brother are talking about it. Just have to get our timing down where who's going to bait, what days, ect. We've got a sow and cub in that woods too along with a small one, boar I'm guessing, behind the schoolhouse. We passed up some spikes last year and it looks like it may pay off. Here's the little guy.

Nice Markn you have a honey of a spot there. Keep the pics coming. Fun to watch those bears.
-
Who knows, possibly one to look out for later.

This looks like a bobcat to me. Have had them here before. Had a fox and a coyote in the same spot an hour apart 2 nights earlier.

-
No tail or I would think canine.
-
Looks like the tail is hiding along the rear left leg, those legs arepretty dog like to me
-
Wondered about that. Kind of a black spot that may be the tip of the tail.
-
Another one from last weekend.
deadeye, that buck looks like it may split again into a 10 point.

And last but not least some fun pic's of fawns.

Here is a doe that I think the local bobcat jumped on. I have heard that it is common for a bobcat to jump on a deer, especially if they are laying down when the cat sneaks up on them. She used to have 2 fawns and now I only see one with her. She has the same marks on the other side. Click on the pic.

O wow.....
-
Here's another one from this weekend's collection. "Thanks for the salt lick".

This guy was a spike last year. Had to beg everyone else to leave him be so we could see what he would look like this year. The tall curving rack is what I noticed most. I watched him in the scope at least six times during the firearms season last year. Thinking he's a six for sure, maybe an eight point.

-
Check out this camo deer.......you'll never see it during bow season! :rotflmao:

Oh hell now glenns gona wear a deer suit now.m

Better take her out if you can. If she is allowed to pass on her genetics, hunters won't have a chance.
-
Here he comes, get ready....

This is one of the pictures of what we had in the cameras this past weekend.

Very nice. I pretty sure the antlers are fully grown at this time but that should be an interesting buck.
-
We had pictures of a doe that ate 13 apples not quite as big as a tennis ball. She gobbled them down in about 15 minutes. Funny as heck. Couldn't believe it.
-
Here's what a doe looks like eating a tomato
(https://tinypix.top/images/2018/09/03/yywHT.md.jpg) (https://tinypix.top/i/yywHT)
She also taught her triplets to eat tomato plants. :angry2:

A few bucks we caught on camera the last two weeks.
-
:happy1: nice. Anyone of those get seen thru the scope?
-
glenn, my buddy got the 6 ptr in the last photo.
But what was even more exciting. My 14 yr old daughter was sitting in a ground blind on Sunday afternoon (our last hunt of our trip this year). This is while my dad and I were taking down other portables and our cameras. I send her text around 3:30pm asking if she has seen anything and get a text back saying no. We continue taking down stands & cameras, when 1/2 hour later I get a call from her..."Dad, I just saw the biggest buck of my life! I heard a weird noise (which ended up being a grunt) and a few minutes later I see this huge body walking in the woods. I got my shooting stick ready, I got my gun up, I see an opening where it will walk if it continues on the same path, I look thru my scope and I see this huge rack, the buck pauses for a few seconds in that opening looking right at me. I pull the hammer back, and then it walks a few steps forward into a thicker spot where I no longer had a clear shot. Then after a minute it must of caught my scent and it takes off running back the way it came out. It was huge dad! I thought it might have been a young moose when I first saw the body moving! I'm shaking so bad right now."
We don't have that buck on camera, but one of our friends (a guide up in Waskish) saw this buck on the logging road leading into our property while guiding some bear hunters on the neighboring state land. He called my uncle after seeing it in October and said it was the biggest buck he has ever seen!
My daughter is still pumped about seeing that buck and has called dibs on hunting in that spot next year. :happy1:

This guy is still around. The picture is from a camera right below my stand. We didn't see him at all last week. Maybe next weekend............
-
Yes, we did see a number of the bucks I have on camera. I guess those of us who saw them decided to give them another year. Maybe a mistake, but who knows some to them could be really nice next year. :bambi:
-
Pulled the card out of the camera behind the house yesterday. Got a close-up. I think the deer can hear the camera and need to take a closer look.

Maybe it's SASQUATCH......
