Title: Jalepeno Popper Burglars

4 oz cream cheese; softened
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
1-2 minced & seeded jalapeno's
6 slices cooked and chopped bacon
1/2 tsp chili powder
Garlic powder
1.5 lbs good 85/15 ground beef
cracked black pepper
4 corn dusted Kaiser or hamburger buns

Mix cream cheese, mozzarella, cheddar and jalepeno's on a medium glass bowl. season with the salt, pepper, and garlic, then slowly fold in the bacon chunks.

Form ground beef into 8 large, thin patties. (about 1/4" thick) Spoon 1/4 cup of filling mix onto one patty; cover with another , and pinch edges all around, sealing well. Season patties with salt, pepper, an chili powder. Cook on med-high grill about 4-5 mns per side. Place on buns and enjoy!

Ya, Reb, that mix would be great.  I make  beer can burgers sometimes with pepper jack cheese and carmalized onions and carmilized jalapenos.  I'm going to try your recipe.  good luck.

Great recipe Rebs....   But what is corn dusted.  Do we do that in MN?   :rotflmao:

I've been making a meatloaf using basically this exact ingredient list for years.

make a weaved bacon blanket on wax paper, smash burger on top of it, put filling on, than roll it up put it on a cookie tray and oven for a hr.

I will be trying your burger recipe on the weber this weekend.  :happy1:

That burglar sounds mint reb, right up my alley, although with the ladies I might hafta skip the galopenos on there's.. Thanks chum!! :happy1:
