This afternoon we said goodbye to our beloved Rocky. We adopted him from the human's society eleven years ago (when he was three). He was much more than we could have ever hoped for. His health declined over the past couple months (cancer). It was a hard decision today but we wanted to ease his pain. Gonna miss him dearly.
Until we meet again...

No longer at your side, but forever in your heart. Rest in peace Rocky, you will be missed.

Man I know your pain. had to do the same a month ago. Still bites.

So sorry to hear this. I hope the day comes when you are ready for another 4 footed companion and best friend. Maybe it will be another rescue dog, or maybe that little puppy that catches your eye, as it plays tug of war with your shoelace, and your heart.
With deepest sympathies,
Jeff

Was just missing my gate watcher here yesterday. Dogs like Rocky are more than pets, as boar said they are true family members. My sincere condolences.
