With my air conditioner on the fritz my mind is on the upcoming ice season.  I have not ice fished Mille Lacs for 40 years.  Would anyone be interested in a MNO get together on the big pond this year.  I am sure our friends at Hunter winfields and Millelacsbob could point us to a good spot.

I am already praying for an early cold winter.  I am pretty much open most weekends in the winter.  December would be my first choice followed by Jan.  Anyone with interest or suggestions on a good date jump in and lets meet some of our MNO members in person.  I know for a fact I could set up some ice lure give aways and maybe put up a couple of prizes for fish caught. toast

It's been 30+ yrs since I've been there.  Depending on when this occurs, I might be there to watch ya'll get a bbq grill out of the ice!   rotflmao

I'll bring to tow rope to that dead sea.

I know a few of the boys have had some luck up there ice fishing.  I'm with Woody.  I am willing to give it a try.  For me it is kind of like the state fair.  I have to try it once every 20 years or so to see if anything has changed.

The location is not locked .  Any input to a location where our members would be able to travel to is welcome.  It would be nice to go to a spot where we could pick up a couple of walleye though.  I want the General to see one in real life.  Grin
