Ice conditions remain good, very little snow cover.
Anglers on Kab looking for crappies have not
found a consistent bite to date.

Namakan still offers fairly good walleye and pike
action. Walleye biting best in the 26-28’ depth
off reef structures, pike action on soft
bottom shorelines at 12-18’.

Snowmobile trails holding up in good – to great
condition. Still grooming and a good base remains.
The lake trails are all staked and remain open,
including the Chain of Lakes Trail.

Bits of snow and the consistent cold weather
has the snowmobile trails going strong
for late season sledding.

See you soon,
Phil & Ellen Hart
