I found a pump on line, but would be the same as I have / had now....and would not last long just like the one that's on there now. (Lots of research)

This will replace the rams and everything.

Problem is, the loan I took out was set aside to get a crank down fish house...and that's not gonna happen now. So, eel pout will be out, and so will red lake....again...

Crud,  i guessebit all lies where one wantsnto lut his money first. If yu were to put the boat aside till next year and get ur crank down yud have time till next open water to make it happen. But theres alot of open water left, its just begining. We can make red happen.i got family and houses to usein keliher. We can figure something out

The boat has gotta get fixed, cause that's what we take to stokes bay (Canada)

It's a 90hp Mercury, 1990 vintage...most boat shops want the serial number to find what it is (but I'm not gonna put that up on a open forum)

My buddy that works at the boat shop said I could possibly get the one I have rebuilt....but then I would still have the same quality one that I had, and would probably last as long as it did..or less (2 years)

The guy I got the motor from just replaced the motor/pump with an aftermarket just before I bought it (I have the paperwork)

And they don't make an OEM replacement anymore...except for the whole unit...which I already have coming.  :doah:

These older boats sometimes can be bottomless money pits.  :doah:  That is until I looked at the replacement cost of a new boat.

Hopefully, I can button it up today so I can get on the water for my birthday.

So now, the questions is....With the motor fully trimmed and tilted up, I pulled the cap off to check the level from the factory and oil came out. Was it over filled from the factory? Or, it supposed to be that full?
