Walleye and pike action is strong.  Good reports from both the Lighthouse and Morris Gap,  Zippel Bay by the rock, Garden Island and Hay Island all around 18-22 feet. Northern Pike active in Zippel Bay, Bostic Creek and in front of Rocky Point.

River fishing is HOT, HOT, HOT. Limits of walleye and sauger caught daily between the International Bridge heading towards Lighhouse Gap with many good reports in front of the airport and Wabanica creek. 16-18 feet the best depth, on windier days up to 20 feet. Timbermill heading east towards Clementson having lots of reports of trophy sized walleye evenings with some eaters in the mix. Jigging with frozen or live shiner the best technique using gold, pink/white, or orange/glow colors.

Fishing up at the NW Angle continues strong.  No change in pattern, fall spots, neck down areas and adjacent to points.  Strong walleyes, crappies and pike.  Muskie anglers are having success trolling and casting.  Info on all lodging at www.LakeoftheWoodsMN.com/Lodging
