huh.. looks like a double main beam. that's really cool.. I had seen a very large one like that about 5 years ago around north branch

yeah that's what I was thinking also. there are some crazy looking deer out there that's for sure.

Better find his mama also.  She has half of the bad genes as well.  Good luck with telling who she is.

True. But..... Actually the doe carries more of the genetics for larger antlers than the bucks do.

On free range deer herds we as hunters have very little impact on genetics.  Our biggest impact is on age.

The double main beem is only bad genes to some people.  I would love to have a few of those bucks in my hunting area.
Anything that is free is worth saving up for.
