VIDEO: Minnesota lake makes its own ice cubes, tosses them to shore.

 Mar 17, 2016

 :coffee: ........
Mounds of cubed ice piled up Wednesday along the east shore of Green Lake.

One lake resident said the ice crackled and popped as it barged to shore during a 30-minute period. :doah:

Due to the warmer seasonal temperatures, a number of the Willmar-area lakes are thawing about a month ahead of the April 16 median ice-out date.
