Make yerself a rain barrel irrigation system then, dinglehoof.

Chlorine and other substances in mains water inhibit the uptake of nutrients and thus reduce plant growth and health. Rain water has a neutral pH. It's usually softer than tap water and soaks in the ground deeper than a hose watering; people don't water long enough to equal the soak of a good rain.

On a side note, I heard on Minnesota History yday you have a grasshopper Chapel up there....saved the crops....maybe you should go there and pray for rain!  :azn:

Morning folk. 59* and there's a bright light in the sky.....and no rain in Swampville (aka Sogville) Gotta clean house today, then give Mr. Sparkles a bubble bath and polish, since he got that nasty rain all splatted over him. That'll be my exciting day. I'll keep a lookout for bears....

Mornin' gang! 60 at choretime on its way to the upper 70's. Seeing a bright shining orb in the sky from time to time. Not positive what it is after this past week. We got another .20" since yesterday at the ranch and an additional .22" in Bugtussle proper. That brings us to 5.26" since last Saturday at the ranch and a measly 3.02" in town. No watering necessary.  :happy1:

We are driving to Aurora today for a graduation this afternoon.  I am going to try and work in the Vince Shute Bear Sanctuary on our way home.  We went there once and it is cool as heck.  They feed the bears in the afternoon and you see them come out of the woods, eat, and go back in the woods.  Doesn't open till 5 every day except for Monday when they are closed.

It sure does!  :rotflmao: Well, another morning's shot in the arse. Did chores, composted a dead, moved a feeder, took down some lambing panels, spread gravel with the skidsteer then dumped gas in the tractor with that evil lead in it, 5 gallons at a time. Next up :get busy on preparing the Stude for BTT50's maƱana. A little light cleaning & polishing and it's ready to go. Just need gas and another layer of RainX in case it decides to rain. Hope the neighbors don't decide I should cut hay next . Gotta squeeze time in for a nap somewhere!
