Man that sounds great Rebs.  Love salads.  We have been picking lettuce from our garden.  It is not as thick as iceberg so doesn't need as much dressing.  Trying to get the right amount on is tricky.  Trying different concoctions here.

I love taking raw veggies, and any good dressing, and mixing a concoction up in a separate bowl before ya pour it over them. I still have a green pepper, think I'll dice up a bit that and toss in, too.  Some red wine vinegar instead of the white I used woulda been tasty, too.

I still have to make Boober's pepperoni Italian mac salad when I remember...gotta buy the tri-color rotini yet and some black olives.

I guess we could but i'm guessing that means adding sugar. we have no issue eating them up. later on we will get 30 ls of blueberries. we wash them up put them in gallon ziplock bags and freeze those, of course after we eat about 3 lbs. then we get a box each of peaches and pears. we share some but we have no issue with them going to waste. we haven't canned any in a long time.

Wish I could get an MRI on mine! Only been jacking around with it for 2 months...thanks MAYO!!! :mad1:
Reb, isn’t there an orthopedic center other than at Mayo that you could go to?
I had total knee replacement in March at Twin a City Orthopedics, and the experience was great. I went in on a Monday and they told me my knee was shot, would you like surgery on Thursday? I would of, but when I told them I just had a cortisone shot 2 months ago they said I would have wait one month. Even when I had arthroscopic surgery on my knee they were great. Anyway good luck Reb and Mike.

Well, finally raised enough he** that I've got a knee MRI this coming Tuesday. But, MAYO's "rules" said that it's been a while since I've seen my ortho surgeon, I have to be assigned to someone new to have the consult with....!!??
WTH has that got to do with anything?! Their "rules" just make no sense to me!!! Seeing the same Doc that's familiar with that knee and did the previous surgeries on it  DOES make sense... :angry2:

Morning boys.  Nice day but may have a stray shower later on.  High of 88 so the AC will be running too.  I see it is pretty windy out.  We put water in the camper yesterday and turned on the hot water and the frig and all looks good.  I did list it on C List and we are having second thoughts now.  But if it just sits here and we don't actually use it we may as well sell it.  We shall see.  Went for a nice boat ride last night to check out the bridge building project.  They are still just putting in the pilings so can't see much yet.  Been eating lettuce like a rabbit here.  My one 3' x 7' garden box is all lettuce.  I go out with a big scissors and cut a colander full then rinse it and put in frig.  I am enjoying it so far.  LOL  Have a big tomato that may get eaten soon.  May have to do fried green tomatoes again.  They weren't too  bad last year when we tried it.

Morning boys. Nice out now, but may get a shot of rain like LPS said. Didn't know it was supposed to get that warm though. We went and caught some fish yesterday. So we are having some fish for breakfast this morning. Num. You should take your camper and go camping down in Beltrami state forest Barry. We do that a couple times a year or more. Nice to just get away sometimes. Well, time for some unleaded coffee. Have a good one boys.

Morning folk, gonna be a Mikey type day here too. Ultra-hume again, headed for 90*. Tomorrow and Tuesday even worse...BUT....it ain't raining!!!!  Sump pump actually slowed way down, while AC runs more...... We might even halfway dry out soon.
Looks like we're having the Dog Days of Summer a month soon....speaking of, happened to watch that old classic on TV last week, Al Pacino in "Dog Day Afternoon"...."SAL! SAL!"  "Attica!" Attica!"  :rotflmao:
Have a good day, guys.

Mornin all, 72* & goin for near 90*, they're sayin. It didn't get quite as warm as they were predicting yday, think we only made low 80's but the humidity made up for it. Our rain showed up earlier than expected though(~ 8) & stuck around longer than they thought as it was close to 1:00 before it started clearing off. Will start gettin ready to head back north today, only been home a week so it won't take too much, & hit the road early am tomorrow. Hopin your Sunday's a good un. :happy1:

Have a safe trip gunner,  maybe I'll see ya in da mornin.  Mornin people's,  it was a good day fiddle fart around the yard yesterday,  I think I'm gonna either move my raised bed or just till up a regular garden in a different spot for next year, the trees just dont let much sun at it now. Yep pretty sticky out but a nice breeze on our 2 mile journey earlier.  Gotta fly, GO TWINS!!

glenn says lazy morning as tho it's something new... :rotflmao: Glad to see yer back from Lost Wages. Oh yeah, mornin' buddy!  :nerd:

Mornin' gang! 74 at choretime heading for a hi in the upper 80's. Breeze seems to be picking up so that's helping some. Just back from spraying the fence over at the kindly neighbors. Sweat like a butcher (sorry RH!) so decided we'd rehydrate then wipe the car down. Got sprinkled on at the show yesterday and my usual wipe down rags were missing after we'd used them to wipe the fog off the inside of the windshield coming back from BTT50's. See it's water spotted so best get at it. After that it'll be lunchtime, Twinkies time and probably nap time.  :happy1:
