I don't want one. I have two.  That guy did. Who would buy anything at Lowe's?
Good thing they don't sell guns and fishing tackle. They'd wouldn't be able to tell a vent-rib barrel from a bamboo rod.

Good thing I already know that stuff...

Mornin all, another beautiful day in the neighborhood  as we have 33* & about 1" of snow on the cement part of the driveway. It was still spittin a little when I was just out. The wind feels as though it's switched direction as it's definitely not as warm as yday's. More snow later & wind's goin NW, they're sayin. Might see if I can putz with the mower/blower a little more this AM, otherwise it'll be a roll with it type day. Have a good day! :happy1:

Morning boys.  Darn Mike, I was hoping they had it all figured out.  I don't like going to the cities neither.  We have a white covering over everything here.  Just enough to make it white.  Maybe an inch on the deck.  Glad the boat and camper are in storage now....  I'm thinking it is a lazy day.  About 6 the dogs started barking so the fox must have been by the house again.  Have a good one.

Gunner, did you go by Glenns cabin to see if the bear got him or he got the bear?

I see where the WCCO Weather Watcher for Inger reported it as 2" for us. Had some more flurries already too. :pouty:

Just looked out.  There appears to be something in the live trap.   Looks like maybe a possum from what I can see out the window.

I guess it needs to live on a farm in country where it can run and play.... :sleazy:

Unless Reb needs it for dinner...

Possums are very useful critters! Let the little feller out! Big River magazine had a great article about them a while back. Great mag. Clarissa from Oxbow was also talking about them on her Thursday am spots on KRPR.....
You'd be better off catching and disposing of yappy little dogs and roaming cats.

Mornin' gang! 30 at choretime but sometime in the overnite it dipped to 29 according to the precision instrument used to divine the temperature. Flurrying now and starting to be some patches accumulating in the driveway. SW wind which is just bizarre. Bet there's a guy down at the People's Republic of Steele Co. garage with a plow truck full of salt idling, just itching to spread that crap all over the roads. Gonna be a long winter at this rate... :pouty:

Could be worse tho. Just saw on ch. 9 weather where Langdon ND received 27" of snow! That's just to the east of where I lived in my days on the Finnish reservation. On a Saturday morning I probably wouldn't be awake yet. The date from Esmond I met up with at the Rock Lake bar the nite before would likely be doing my laundry & catching me some breakfast on the Armoudale reservoir. Ah the good ol' days... :coffee:

It's changing 'bout every 10-15 minutes here, snowin & blowin so hard we can't see 1/2 way across the bay 1 minute. Then a few minutes later the sun's shinin & the grass starts turnin green again.

It's warmed up to 37 here but it must be collecting on the dish somewhere as the TV signal just gave up. Sun is trying to break thru so hopefully we can get it back on again. Of course TV on or not I can still nap!  :happy1: Probably the worst thing is the snow has hung up on the corn stalks and husks so it's likely you'd plug the combine full of snow if you tried to pick corn. Cause for much snarling and gnashing of teeth when that happens.  Bottom photo is from last year on Oct. 14th. I'd say we're fortunate so far.

He'd of needed more than that to be out in the woods the last 2-3 days 'round here for very long. :pouty:
