Ya ever just chunk it up and throw it in the crack pot with some taters and veggies?
well....kinda.
mom used to can it. brown it, throw it in jars and hot bath it. till she found out my brother had his all gone in 2 weeks. then we cubed it, froze it raw, then browned it and made gravy right in the fry pan.
so all done...…….. 15 lbs, 3 batches of meat for jerky based on the seasoning for 5 lb batches. and 26 lbs of trimmings for summer saugage and sticks.
but I have hopes of having to clean anudder one next week!!!!!!!!!!
