mornin all yea hope yer alright roony!!  the radar shows snow here but nothing on the ground so far...  the snow amounts on TV are crazy!!  hope every one is good...  going to grill myself some top sirloin steak for lunch today!!  well have a good day all!!!

Mornin forum fellas, that sucks roony. You sure are setting the bar high for lunches mike, I like it. Snowin perty good here, we must have a new union paper delivery guy cuz it was in da driveway at 5:30 this morning during the storm  :happy1:. I do hafta run a couple errands,  the softener is yelling at me to fill it but it should just be a play in day snow kinda day.. see ya!!

Mornin all, 24* & still comin down. Went out 'bout 7 & to fire up the blower, cleared what we had then, was back in havin bfast by 8. Stuck a tape measure in it in a few different spots & I'm sayin we had 9-10" :snow3: already then. Know I'm going to have to do it again after the plows go but that might be a while as there was nothin movin when I was out, just other blowers. The radar in motion(TWC site) doesn't show it clearing out 'til after 11. That's it from here for now, take it EZ with the :snow5:, & have good day.

Morning boys.  Cool contraption Rebs.  10 here with a breeze.  Not a bad day.  Watched the first XFL game and was actually sort of a fun game yesterday.  May tune in for awhile again today.  Then we went movie mode.  Made the Ham and Bean soup and turned out great.  Except I decided to add a can of black beans to be different.  Should have rinsed them.  The soup got really dark from it.  LOL  Tastes great!  Almost out of honey so will have to drive to Warpath and get another gallon from the Honey people over there soon. 1 spoon in  my coffee per day and a gallon lasts about 6 or 7 months appx.  Real unpasteurized stuff.  The guy told me that once it is pasteurized there is not much health benefits from it.  So he says if there is not a bee leg or wing in it now and then it's not the good stuff.  LOL  Well just enjoy your day and don't overdo it on removing all of that snow down there youse guys.  Spring is getting close.

I love honey, Barry. Favorite is real purple clover honey. Bought a sampler of various honey's once, makes a big diff what flowers the bee's use. One was really awful, think it was some kind Argentine heather honey. Like Van Morrison said, "sweet as Tupelo honey"...that's good, too.

A local honey guy hear here had some honey that was dark colored and was from bees being on buckwheat so I got a jug from him.  WAY different and really didn't like it.  Real strong taste.  Kept trying to use it but just couldn't finish it.

I've had that....yuck!  :angry: REAL orange-blossom is pretty good, too. Haveta be careful though, lots of it uses artificial orange flavor. I got my sampler at Trader Joe's.

Now that I think about it, it had a bad smell to it also. The guy warned me about it too but I wanted to try it.  He was out of sweet clover honey when I was there that time.
