Hellfire chili with TJ's organic tortilla rounds, shredded sharp cheddar, and sour cream.  Flour tortilla chilitos with green salsa verde.  Lotsa cold milk.

That looks great Reb. The Linda Blair trailer was for Glenn's benefit. Split pea soup is great stuff, especially washed down with Schmidt Big Mouths. The effect the next day can be devastating however.  :happy1:

Devastating for the throne, and I doubt that combination would last til morning. :surrender: :doah:

That's one thing I've never made...a chicken fried steak. Used to get those flat chunks of leather in the school cafeteria, "chicken fried steak". Maybe that's why.  I wonder what those were?  :puke:

I like pickled beets.  I've never eaten them fresh cut.  How are they fresh sliced?  They are good for you for sure.  good luck.

Kinda of a scratch and grab nite for dinner. Did some rubbed meaty wings on the Weber this afternoon, it was so nice out. Tossed 'em in my sriracha/bbq sauce when done. Ate the pile of them with my beefy veg soup, along with some warm french bread. Hit the spot.  ;)

Ate a bunch of beets one time.  Next day, went to bathroom.  Looked in bowl and thought I was going to die,  darn near called 911.  Looked like I was bleeding out.

Ha, fake news from the body....   Turns out the red stuff goes right through.   ;)
