Hope you start feeling better Rebs.  I am going to make a tater tot hot dish.  I add Lipton onion soup mix and use 2 cans of cream soups.  I top it with lots of cheddar cheese when it is almost done.  And the onions out of our garden.

What better than a nice pigger apple roast in the crack pot on a 12* day.... :azn:
And some deviled eggs for later. A couple fell on da floor, so I had to eat 'em for lunch.... :whistling:   :azn:

Pulled pork sammich with baked taters. It was a pressure cooker day today, I did a 3.5lb pork butt in 2 hours and it pulled apart with no problem, you gotta love the pressure cooker. Just put a rub on and when done I used some liquid smoke, sweet baby rays kickin bourbon marinade and some juices from the meat. Nom nom
if you kick me when I'm down you better pray I don't get up.

The pigger roast was fall apart heaven. Best I've had yet. Lotsa tangy apple flavor with a slight hint of Rosemary. Broccoli in cheddar sauce, mashed sweet taters with butter, soft rolls...*urp*  Had it half gone before I thought of pics.

BBQ Venison steak at deer camp.  I think we will make this a tradition.  I hereby declare that the last meal (usually noon on the last Sunday of the season) be grilled venison steak.  After everything used for hunting was packed and loaded, I grilled some of the finest tasting venison steaks you ever had.  Damn, I miss the gun season already.

Ok I do have the pot roast in the oven.  Had some broccoli in the frig so threw that in too.  Along with the carrots, onions out of the garden, celery, and spuds.
