My mother's version evolved to be mostly celery...    So that was her traditional version.

yes I did them in the crack pot..  layered the bottom with 1/2 inch slices of onion and the one layer of ribs with BBQ sauce and then the last layer with more sauce!!  about 2 hours on high and the rest of the time on low..

That sounds great.  May have to try that.  So how long do you leave it on low?

I may make the trek all of the way to town and get me some CSR's and do that today.  Thanks for the inspiration you two.  Maybe have a baked spud with them.  And green beans.  I like to use liquid smoke too.

Ribs have been on for 2 hours.  I put Ken Davis sauce on them.  Great stuff just haven't had it in years.  Oh I also put in some mushrooms.

Yup almost forgot but did put a shot of that in too.  Smells great.  Glad I read your post on ribs.  When I got in the store a lady  that knows my wife real well said hi and I told her what I was there for.  We ended up at the same checkout.  She too decided to have ribs in a crockpot too.  SO you are influencing people you never even met Mike.   :happy1: :happy1:
