It is! Someone said it's great; I had my doubts. Ran into another buddy tonite that said he always gets them...so I bought Four. It IS. Melt-in-yer mouth. Cooked it at 350* for 30 mns until it was 155-160*  I'm going back tomorrow and get eight of 'em. Sale ends Thursday.
Try a couple. On the grill or oven.   ;)

Filet, tenderloin, YES they ARE the same, Mr. Butcher! Go write the company for a mis-labeled recall, then go wreck 'em by sousing them up, too!  :bonk: :banghead: :banghead:

Pork Tenderloin. Pork tenderloin, also called pork filet, is cut from the rear end of the loin. This delicate muscle runs along the spine of the pig and isn't used for walking or other movements. As a result, the tenderloin is one of the most tender cuts of pork you can buy.

On the way up on Opening weekend I saw them at Bill's Superette in Royalton mn marked $.25 each.  I'm sure the use by Dates must have been coming up so I passed.

I just had an epiphany of something to cook tomorrow.  Cabbage soup.  That can mean any type of soup as long as a cabbage is in it.  Will put in a bag of our frozen tomatoes, onions, carrots, either or ground pork/beef.  Lot's of Old Bay Seasoning as I like that and other spices too.  Mayhaps some mushrooms too just cuz.  Of course some corn and green beans are mandatory!  Could even add shrimp or chicken for day two as in a gumbo.  Hmmm.  Yup it is a plan now.
