O now stop it! Or, as Glenn would say:   :tut:   :rotflmao:
I'm convinced the injecting/marinating is the key. This is the 4th fall-apart roast in a row doing that. Before, seemed like every other one was just plain chewy.....I'm also using only about 3/4 cup total of liquid too, so it isn't basically poaching in a crock of liquid. I do 6 hrs on low....

Hey Reb,thinking about a goose hunt down your way, what ya seeing?

Lots of geese flying over, or grazing along teh main drag at the soldiers field golf course.  Or pretty much any grassy area.  floating in gravel pits or on the mighty Zumbro.

Whether a guy can find a place to hunt, and if they are that tame out in the country, is something I don't know about.

Made some fried chicken last night.  Used the same breading that Cub uses for their fried chicken in the deli.  Made my gravy also.  The breading tastes like KFC to me.  Bought 5 pounds of it.  Shrimp stir fry tonight.  They have a 2 pound bag of shrimp for $12.00 in a 3 day sale till Sunday.  Buying some frozen Canadian walleye tomorrow for $7.99 lb.  Yep, out of fish.  good luck.

I like that sandwich Reb.  Tasty chuck roast sandwich.  Except the white bread.  Even as a kid I didn't eat white bread.  I remember as a kid in Duluth my dad would buy medium rye bread from a bakery back then that was awesome.  Don't make bread like that anymore.  Closest I found is Panera.  I did buy some white bread when I had kids because that's all they would eat.  good luck.
