Radishes were harvested and 4 o'clocks planted in their space. Not the greatest radish crop. Quality was good but lots of them had top growth but not much for bulbs. Finally had a chance to garden over the weekend. Saturday's howling sirocco meant little was done so Sunday between a graduation and lawn mowing, I got 54 hills of vine crops planted betwixt direct seeded and transplants, 9 rows of sweet corn, a row of Reb's fave's, string beans, 11 'maters and 4 jalapeņos. I left a fallow area for late summer seeded stuff like radishes and snap peas. Doesn't always click but when it does, it's worth it. Mrs. Cheviot also got her planters all established and the hummingbirds were working them over the next day.  :happy1:

Got spuds blooming! Think I'll have a meal of them this weekend. Might take a couple hills to get a meal, but they are the best ones of the year to eat!!
