I just use Miracle grow weekly, after planting everything in the ground with some bags of Miracle gro Garden soil mixed it. Other than an occasional plant spray of soap and water to repel bugs, and a weekly watering of Miracle gro for 'maters, my stuff does great. My 'mater's are zooming along and already flowering out!!!!    :azn:

Radishes were harvested and 4 o'clocks planted in their space. Not the greatest radish crop. Quality was good but lots of them had top growth but not much for bulbs. Finally had a chance to garden over the weekend. Saturday's howling sirocco meant little was done so Sunday between a graduation and lawn mowing, I got 54 hills of vine crops planted betwixt direct seeded and transplants, 9 rows of sweet corn, a row of Reb's fave's, string beans, 11 'maters and 4 jalapeņos. I left a fallow area for late summer seeded stuff like radishes and snap peas. Doesn't always click but when it does, it's worth it. Mrs. Cheviot also got her planters all established and the hummingbirds were working them over the next day.  :happy1:

Got spuds blooming! Think I'll have a meal of them this weekend. Might take a couple hills to get a meal, but they are the best ones of the year to eat!!

not sure is anyone needs anymore greenhouse plants but fleet farms got some really good deals, the one in waite park/st cloud anyway. i needed to replace some mater plants cause i thinks me got to close with the roundup, not sure why it took so long for the plants to have the effects but.........

anywho, they were marked at 1.99 for a pack of 4..............when i paid for them they were a buck a piece.

walking in i noticed the rack of these hen n chicks for 9.99. i new that was a good deal for them. called the wifey, she went in sunday morning, grabbed 2 paid and they were half price, so she went back and got 2 more.
