Gardens are doing great!
Except for the fact that the deer are raiding the garden.
And one of the squash plants Mama wanted is taking over the pepper plot....

Stuff is looking good here other than my large garden is a little full of weeds. Haven't had much time with youth baseball this summer! Although I put a dent on them Saturday.
Tournament starts Tuesday and ends Saturday! Sad and happy all at the same time. After a week I'll be waiting for next season to start, but it will leave me a little more time to visit here and keep the garden clean!
We put the scoreboard up today. That was a nice addition! Especially since we host the 7/8 grade tourney this year!

when the stalks start drying up and falling over. onions dont like to be wet. also years of experience. when some or most stems/stalks are completely dried up is when i pull them. leave them in to long they start to rot. i only had 3 bad ones!!!!! :happy1:

Looking good Reb. We've picked about ten so far. This cool weather slows the progression down considerably.

They're movin' along awful slow, roony. 4-5 reddish ones right behind this one, but the Better Boys are still green and growing. Never had a slow year like this, ever. Same variety planted, planted same time, fertilizing weekly like always, watering the same, soil was freshened with new garden soil mixed in...I dunno what's goin' on.

It was time to check on the gardens.  I've neglected them for a while now.  I figure plant enough and hopefully you will get some produce.

Grapes are doing fine on their own

Flowers are going gang busters

Tomatoes and cucumbers are doing fine, potatoes and onions, not so much

Apple trees are loaded

Flowers and vines doing just fine.

***I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.***
