Well, I'm afraid it's all over....gonna pull the rest of the 'maters today, ripe and green ones. We'll see what I end up with for a years total later.

The official count:  Early girl, 128    Better Boys, 55   Pretty fair for 2 plants!  :azn:

I left anything not bigger than a plum. Now to wrap all the green ones in newspaper and tuck away....

Plants were dying off and withering....'mater's on dead stems ain't gonna grow and turn! Besides, I like putting them away green, so come November, I'm snackin' on fresh mato's!  And you ain't!  :rotflmao:
Looks like they have some type of fungal disease? Prolly from planting in same spot for last 4 years...and I know better.

My garden is all done. The only thing still going is a jalapeno pepper plant.

My onions are still in the ground.  Everything else I will pull today too.  Those yams look great Boar.  I bought one the other day to have with the ribeye.  That will be tonight.

Yanked 1 mater plant, picked and yanked the rest of my green peppers. Now to clean them up cut up and throw in the freezer. Hard to get much accomplished running to the hospital.
