Custom Ice Rod Racks
If you have a few nice custom-built ice rods, you might want a nice custom-built ice rod rack to store and protect your rods. These are great for use at home or in the fish house. They can be built to your specs, but most are being ordered in oak and with either seven or ten rod places. They can be shipped completely assembled or ready for you to assemble, which will save a bit on shipping costs. Or you can pick up if you are ever in the Grand Rapids, MN area. Can't believe I forgot to post the costs ...

I can do a 7 rod rack in oak for $50 ... 10 rod rack for $65. Shipping costs are whatever UPS actually charges plus $4 for the box.

FYI, I don't make these to make money ... I just enjoy building them. I think next year I will need to increase the prices a bit to cover the cost of materials ...

Boar: The dimensions for the 10-rod rack are about 33" wide, 18" tall and 3.5 deep. I'd guess a 4-rod rack would be about 12" wide as I allot 3 inches between each rod. I could use your dimensions, if possible.

im interested butim not sure of the width of the cabinet where I want to mount them. is like 2 but let me get the width demension from my ice castle first. ill be doing that next weekend.

I just finished two more of these 10 rod racks ... one is spoken for but the other is available. If you were thinking of getting one, now would be a great time. I could stain it to your spec and put the final poly finish on it and ship it to you in a couple days. Let me know if you are interested.

Here is another version ... also in cedar for an Ice Castle ... which is holding 6 rods. It matches the Ice Castle interior cedar very well and was easy to install.

Oops, photo is rotated ... should be vertical. You get the idea ...

Here are a couple new rod racks recently built for customers: first (second photo) is a 10-rod wall-mount rack made of pine and the second is an 8-rod fish house rack also made of pine, but with a clearcoat finish. If you would like a rack for for your home or fish house, let me know. They cost from $50 - $65, depending on wood species and number or rods.
