WolfTrack Classic race melts away.

 :coffee: ......
Poor trail conditions, safety concerns cited  :banghead:
REGIONAL –Spring-like temperatures and rain in mid-February have led to deteriorated and unsafe trail conditions and forced the cancellation of the 2017 WolfTrack Classic Sled Dog Race.

 :doah: ............
The WolfTrack Classic Board of Directors is very sad to make this announcement. After considerable weighing of all information available to us about the weather and the trail conditions and for the safety of the dogs, mushers and volunteers, we are cancelling our 2017 race, which was to be held this weekend (February 25 & 26). Within the next few days we will be contacting all mushers, sponsors and volunteers by email or phone. We made this decision after reviewing the information and realizing we could not guaranty a safe race for the dogs, mushers, volunteers and spectators. Our website will be updated tomorrow with detailed information.
