Outdoor Channel Caves :surrender: to Anti-Hunting Pressure, Removes Safari Hunting from MyOutdoorTV :banghead:

 :doah: .....
Apparently, anti hunter’s antics are even worse in the UK than in the U.S., and it’s not even close!

If you thought all the anti-hunting nonsense was bad here in the states, wait until you hear what outdoor enthusiasts are dealing with across the pond.

According to CBS 4 Denver, when MyOutdoorTV launched in the UK, anti-hunting groups, along with various celebrities such as Ricky Gervais, tried to put a kibosh on the hunting shows, which reportedly show legal elephant and tiger hunts. :moon:

Being that businessman Stan Kroenke (owner of MOTV) is also a prevalent sports team owner, (owner of the L.A. Rams, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and the popular Arsenal FC) it made anti-hunters’ jobs easy when looking to dish out threats, and start online petitions.

  ...
Speaking of petitions, it only took 10,000 signatures to cause Kroenke to remove all trophy hunting on the MyOutdoorTV network. If this feels oddly familiar, it’s because in all likelihood, you’re recalling the knee-jerk reaction from Under Armour when they decided to side with the antis over a legal bear hunt with a spear.

Outdoor Sportman Group President and CEO Jim Liberatore said in a statement, “While many on both sides of this issue have made their voices heard, and this content is only available through paid subscriptions, Stan Kroenke had directed us to remove all content related to those animals in light of the public interest.”

For those of you upset :angry2: by the removal of these fascinating hunts, don’t fret, because we’ve got you covered. Make sure you visit CarbonTV to watch thousands of awesome hunts right now! https://www.carbontv.com/

The MyOutdoorTV app is part of Outdoor Sportsman Group (Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel) which is owned by Kroenke Sports and Entertainment.
