Got another jerky batch done.  Tweeked my Korean Kalbi marinade and added 4 jalapeno peppers sliced with the seeds left in.  I doubled the recipe for this batch.  SImmered the marinade until the pepper slices became tender.  Let the marinade cool and then poured the stuffe over the sliced beef in a 2 gallon zip bag.  Let the batch set in the fridge for 24 hours or so.  Nice sweet heat.  Did it in my dehydrator.  good luck.

This time I used bottom round and some sirloin tip.  Sale priced.  Boar, I used my own Korean Kalbi recipe that is on my site that I use for the thin sliced beef short ribs in the Smokin Hot page.  I did add the jalapeno peppers for this batch.  good luck.
