There's no proof better than pictures to capture the real story.  This young inexperienced turkey hunter hunted my property last Saturday May 19.  I told him he would most likely see turkeys, probably get a shot at one, and likely get a tom if he followed my simple instructions.  (1)If you get there before 6 pm the night before, go to the blind and stay there until 9 PM.  (2) Get to the blind and be set up (put out a couple decoys that were in the blind) well before 5 AM.  (3) Stay in the blind until noon and then be back from break and lunch by 2 PM and stay in the blind until 9 PM.  (4) limit calling especially if birds are on the field.
I had a camera set to field scan over looking part of the field.  Here is what I saw when I pulled the card yesterday.  Hunter report, no I didn't see any.   :rotflmao:

Hunter checked out the blind Friday afternoon at 5:45 but did not stay in the blind as instructed.

Friday at 7:10 PM turkey walks by on the field.

Hunter leaving the blind at 10:10 Sat morning.

On queue, turkeys walk by at 11:45 AM.

Hunter returns at 1:45

Hunter departs after 1.5 hours.  Leaving at 3:35 PM

On queue again, turkeys walk by at 7:00 PM.

Ya good for you DE.  All you can do is try to help.  If he had his own program that is certainly A OK too.  May not have worked but he had the freedom to hunt turkeys in an awesome area.  Just didn't pan out for him.  I know there are times when I think someone is blowing smoke and getting way to complicated...  BUT that person may just have it dialed in as you do and we should have listened.  I bet he had a great time anyways.  It is a beautiful looking place.  I do think your pictorial is funny as heck too.   :rotflmao: :happy1: :rotflmao:  I have always wondered if you were able to show it to the hunter and laugh with him about it.
