whats everyone use for fertilizing your garden and or lawn?????? in a conversation elsewhere this Milorganite was brought up. i bought a bag once and not sure what to think. a few swear by it and its cheaper then 10-10-10. after researching it more indepth, it has a good nitrogen base, but man the way my garden looks this year i dont need it. there are other nutrients in it but just looking for opinions!!!!!!

Cant help with grass,Buy a cheap soil tester it will show PH and nutrient content. Its not specific but helps.I just dosed the Asparagus with high nitrogen for next years sprouts,Maters just got the epsom salts and a high phosphorus for blooming same wit peppers, maters today get the grass clipping mulch. I wouldnt worry about any brand name being better than another for a garden all ya need is the 3 basic nutrients in standard fertilizer and then minerals. This is my last adding anything to the garden this year beyond July it dont do much before freeze

The lawn and flowers seem to be liking last weeks shot of fertilizer that was put down, in addition to the cool wedder! Grass is really thick, and the sedum's are going bonkers!  They're just loaded with bumbles, which is good...we need more bees.

so decided today that since all the lawn care businesses are out and about doing there lawn spraying thing i could fertilize my lawn too.

i have used 10-10-10, last few years i used the miloganite. this year since menards had the 11% off deal going i bought what they called E co ganite. looks and smell pretty much the same as the miloganite.

figured right before the rain...........what the heck...........2-36 lb bags, well i have about a 1/4 bag left.

I've come to the conclusion you need to periodically change it up once in a while.

Even with women!!🤭 :rotflmao: at least till your married  :pouty: :rotflmao:

Used a lot of Scott's products on the golf course, mostly fungicides. Good stuff, spendy though. Had the local Ag service company fertilize the fairways with a granular. We sprayed Trimec for the herbicide, again kind of expensive but we always got good results.

Grass likes nitrogen. I always use a higher first number for my lawn.....like 20.

10/10/10 is really a good balanced fertilizer for garden plants.
Conservative on some things.....Liberal on others.....Sane most of the time.
