Some of the apple trees are loaded this year.  Pictured is a regular crab apple and flowering crab apple trees.
To prevent branches from breaking, I shook the tree (got bonked a bunch of times) and now realize I cannot hunt
the area for 10 days.

I don't think swinging from a crab apple tree branch constitutes manipulation of agricultural crops.

Were you planning on removing all those li'l apples before you hunt again in 10 days?

I think the baiting guidelines are different from if they fell of a tree to if they were trucked in and dumped there. These apples grew in that location and would naturally if not picked end up in that location..
