Well obviously, many consumers do buy canned veggies. A lot of people aren't able to have a garden, and most of the food on food shelves or low cost veggies are canned, not frozen, ya wingnut!!    :doofus:

I have noticed there is only about 4 or 5 pkgs of romaine lettuce on our grocery store shelves lately.  Yesterday the shelves were packed full of romaine.  I am a little gun shy about it yet.  Haven't had many salads here lately which is too bad cuz I like them.

Good reason to not buy any of it.  Yuck.  Tried to get used to it a few years ago to be heart healthy.  Went through maybe 3 packages of it.   Told the wife I ain't eating any more of that..    :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :happy1: :happy1:

That's actually the reason I've never bought ground poultry. Too much chance of things like that with the process. Learned and saw that while I worked at the butcher shop many moons ago.
