As it is every year around this time, I have mixed emotions while putting my bow and rifle away for the year.  Sad to see another year of seasons come to an end but happy that I was lucky enough to participate in and harvest a number of big and small game species.  The year started great with me bagging a nice tom turkey last spring.  Early this fall I shot my first ever bear with a bow.  Never had the deer I wanted in range when I had my bow but did get a respectable buck with a rifle.  Ended the season with a grouse hunt with a few friends.  Of course, I have been planning next years hunts so I guess it really isn't over yet.   :rotflmao:
