Its a teeny toy drill for elves. Might work on cardboard or dents in a truck.

Ever thought of reading online reviews/ratings, THEN going out to buy one?  :bonk:

what's wrong with DeWalt. There's a pile of construction people using them?

It's a nice tool. I have the same one, the only difference to the ones out in the field is they are running a 5 amp battery to our 3 amp.

Not a thing. That's why I own two. I agree with dakids.

Our cordless tools are all Ryobi, 2 sets, 1 for home & 1 for up here. We've had good luck with ours & HD runs a lot of sales on the sets as well as the batteries during the year. I had a buddy who was a electrical contractor & they used a lot of Dewalt, he told us that when they wore out a battery they'd just go buy a whole new drill as it didn't cost much more than just the replacement battery. That's 1 reason why we went Ryobi, bet 1 set is at least 6-8 years old. Think we have 5 batteries around here.

One thing that's better on those is they don't have that stupid plastic chuck like most have now. I spun mine off one of my DeWalt's and put a steel one one. Real tools.

I sold Milwaukee's for years, needless to say I personally own Dewalts. Have them also at my present work, there great.
Ya done fine Boar. Hammer one would have been nice but is it worth the extra?? the impacts are the way to go.

This one came with a Lifetime battery. I take it to the land sometimes just in case.

I have all DeWalt battery operated power tools.
The drills, I have 2, one is the older heavier 12 volt (still going strong) and the other is the 18 volt. I bought the 18 before Black&Decker bought DeWalt. That's been a great drill as well. The sawsall, is "ok" , seems to go dead quicker than I thought....

That being said, I don't know if the quality will go down because of Black & Decker.... I sure hope not, because I like my DeWalt tools.

I had purchased a Black & Decker combination tool set before the DeWalts, and they were all JUNK!

Had great customer service with Dewalt. Hit a hidden piece of 1/4" stainless when drilling a knockout, and the little holesaw instantly stuck. Snapped the teeth off main shaft. Almost snapped my wrist, too.   Very spendy fix, but DeWalt in Mpls sent me the entire shaft and gear assy...no charge. Drill was probably 3-4 yrs old at that time too.
