winter severity index
there was an article in the st cloud times by Jerry Carlson. he wrote about how hard winters can be on the deer.

I went to the DNR site and tried finding that winter severity index but didn't come up, and I haven't heard about it in a few years.

I believe they take the amount of days its below 0 and the amount of snow on the ground, assess a number to it to decipher the hardship on deer during the winter months.

anyone see or hear anything or know where to find it. i'd like to see if there is anything this year regarding the deer heard.
