We put the trail cameras out on Memorial Day (May 27th). My folks were up at the hunting land on Tuesday. They only checked a couple of the cameras. Here are a couple of the pix.

What do you think coyote or wolf in the last one?

A couple of pictures of bucks. I had a real good picture of the sow with two of the cubs about ten feet away from the camera, but it somehow got deleted. In that picture they are jet black in color and I'm sure it's the same bear. Don't think there's two sows, these two cameras are only 200 yards apart.

Outdoors J,
I think coyote.

markn,
Nice bear pix.  Are you going to shoot them.

I haven't looked at cameras for quite a while now so I may have to get there this week.

deadeye,     I think we'll leave the sow alone for now. I had a huge boar in this woods for the past two years, but haven't seen hide nor hair of him yet this year. Normally we don't see any bear on cameras after mid-July. Here's a picture of that boar from 2017.

That looks like a whopper for sure.  I'd take him out just for safety reasons.

Pulled the cards on Saturday after mowing. The bucks are getting a bit bigger and can't wait to get another picture of this guy next month. One small bear.

Pulled the cards earlier this week and the deer are looking much healthier than they did right after winter.  Seeing mostly single fawns though and only one set of twins, so that is a little disappointing.  Also I didn't mean to set the camera up facing the sunrise but it made for some cool pictures.

Here are a couple other critters we caught on camera.

What do you think of the wolf in the second photo? Brush wolf or Timber wolf?

His legs are pretty long.  Too bad the tree is blocking his tail.  His hind legs look big even though he is in sort of a crouch position.  ?????

I thinks that's a brush wolf. Coyote. Doesn't appear very tall compared to the grass.
