Thank all, I’m pretty excited about it.
It’s mainly for storage of boats, tractors, fish house, implements. It replaced a smaller barn I lost a few years ago to a heavy snow load in that same location.

I can't tell from the pic, but it looks like your wall beams are darker for about 4-5 ' up...is it just the pic, or are they doubled up from the floor up?

our new shed at the cabin is the same. That portion is treated lumbet going into the ground.

Glenn is correct. The posts are all laminated. They are going away from the solid post because of the warping, twisting. The bottom portion of the post is green treated.
