We had pictures of a doe that ate 13 apples not quite as big as a tennis ball.  She gobbled them down in about 15 minutes.  Funny as heck.  Couldn't believe it.

Here's what a doe looks like eating a tomato

She also taught her triplets to eat tomato plants.  :angry2:

glenn, my buddy got the 6 ptr in the last photo.

But what was even more exciting. My 14 yr old daughter was sitting in a ground blind on Sunday afternoon (our last hunt of our trip this year). This is while my dad and I were taking down other portables and our cameras. I send her text around 3:30pm asking if she has seen anything and get a text back saying no. We continue taking down stands & cameras, when 1/2 hour later I get a call from her..."Dad, I just saw the biggest buck of my life! I heard a weird noise (which ended up being a grunt) and a few minutes later I see this huge body walking in the woods. I got my shooting stick ready, I got my gun up, I see an opening where it will walk if it continues on the same path, I look thru my scope and I see this huge rack, the buck pauses for a few seconds in that opening looking right at me. I pull the hammer back, and then it walks a few steps forward into a thicker spot where I no longer had a clear shot. Then after a minute it must of caught my scent and it takes off running back the way it came out. It was huge dad! I thought it might have been a young moose when I first saw the body moving! I'm shaking so bad right now."

We don't have that buck on camera, but one of our friends (a guide up in Waskish) saw this buck on the logging road leading into our property while guiding some bear hunters on the neighboring state land. He called my uncle after seeing it in October and said it was the biggest buck he has ever seen!

My daughter is still pumped about seeing that buck and has called dibs on hunting in that spot next year.  :happy1:

Yes, we did see a number of the bucks I have on camera.  I guess those of us who saw them decided to give them another year.  Maybe a mistake, but who knows some to them could be really nice next year.   :bambi:

Pulled the card out of the camera behind the house yesterday. Got a close-up. I think the deer can hear the camera and need to take a closer look.
