So I have two Robin nests in front of my house.  One went through the cycle and is empty.  The other one is still there with young one's and both parents are feeding them.  Isn't that late for that?  Do Robins sometimes mate later than some others?  good luck.

Lots of birds are still nesting.

They are???! Well, I didn't know that either! (But I'm Czech...) I thought they had to fledge by Summer....

I be doo--danged!!! Lookee this!                 Deadeye:         :rotflmao:

What is the nesting season for birds?

The 'Bird Nesting Season' in North America is officially from February until August and it is recommended that vegetation works (tree or hedge cutting) or site clearance should be done outside of the nesting season. However, in reality the nesting period may start before this and extend beyond it, in some cases.

I think robins will sometimes raise two broods a season.  Don't quote me on that.

I've noticed a lot of them around lately.....the Cooper's have every other smart bird in hiding.
