Good news,  sow with Cubs isn't coming to bait site anymore.

Great news!!!  Had 3 different bears hitting baits during daylight 5 days in a row!!! One is the cinnamon.

Bad news, the huge boar showed up last night at 3 am.  All the beef fat was already gone so all he got was some candy trail mix.  Hopefully he moves onto somebody else's bait site.  The last several seasons he has chased off all other bears and claimed our site and refuses to come in during daylight.

I would love to kill this huge boar but I think he is unkillable.  In years past we have tried everything.  Other bears poop from a different site,  2 guys in and 1 guy out.  No bait for a few days,  extra bait.

I guess a night vision scope or some floodlights is not acceptable?

Ice cream in the morning spread on a tree along with the bacon or honey burn.  OR both.  Never heard of a bacon burn along with a honey burn?????

I've got the gear. I can blow that sucker right outta his furry paws. Won't even see that little green dot.

More bad  news.   Neighbors were shooting just down the road in their gravel pit yesterday.  They shot off about 50 rounds. It's a out half a mile from my one bait site. Hopefully the bears didn't get scared and go nocturnal or leave the area.

Will check cameras in a bit.  Fingers crossed.
