Twins starting pitching will tell the tale. Only Ober pitched for them last season. And that was only 20 games. Not a good sign when you turn over pretty much your whole starting pitching staff.I guess it is time to start paying some attention to the Twinks again.
0-1looks like they lost the opener.........cant drink beer................ :doah: :surrender: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Pitching was great.
Offense stunk.
I thought that last pitch was going over the fence, a little excitement at the end anyway. If he had gotten another inch of it, it probably would have. :doah: Our young starter struggled with his control so his pitch count got pretty high early. He still kept us in the game against Ray who was last year's AL Cy Young winner when he was with the Blue Jays. Just Arreaz in his only AB & Jeffers from last season's team got a hit, that won't cut it. The bullpen looked good though, especially Duran & Coloumbe. A 1:10 start today, Gray gets the ball.
6 homeruns so far today. Ober was so,so as the starter.Good enough to get the 1st W of his mlb career though. A real nice play at the plate early to give 'em a lift. Glad to see Polanco's & Kepler's bat wake up but there's still a couple everyday guys doing the O'fer. More good bullpen work too.
Sano is really struggling.....down to the bottom of the lineup. Still looking for his first hit. He'll come around.
Sano is really struggling.....down to the bottom of the lineup. Still looking for his first hit. He'll come around.
He has looked good with the glove. If Alex Kirilloff was hitting he would be at 1st and Gordon would be in left. I'm not a Sano fan, he either doesn't understand hitting or he doesn't care. I don't know if those 30 homeruns a year make up for the strikeouts and double plays he hits into.
I guess he asked to be taken out after 80-85 pitches. Tough choice. I believe Kershaw would rather pitch in another WS game or 2 & help win another ring than have the perfect game. He had arm issues at the end of last season again & ended up on the IL unable to pitch in theplayoffs as well. Many pitchers are not "stretched out" to regular season form yet either because of the shortened spring training.
Twins are up 4-0 after 4, Bundy is mowing them down.i thought Ted Bundy was ececuted!!!!!!! :sleazy: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :mooning: :nerd:
5-8 coming home for the hated White Sux.Time for the boys to start playing.
Twins win another ugly one 2-1 last night. Only 2 runs because Chicago gave them to the Twins with 2 throwing errors. Ninth inning got hair raising with Pagan loading the bases before getting out of it. :pouty: :pouty: :pouty:Ken, its probably gonna get rained out anyway!!!!!! :pouty:
I was supposed to go to the game today with 20 members of my family. Can't ride in a car for 3-4 hours to get there. Oh well. maybe later in the summer. Probably get rained out anyway.
The lack of hitting is mystifying. Arraez is the only guy I can watch anymore. It's a shame to waste the starting pitching they are getting. It would be nice to score some runs and give the pitchers some breathing room. It's not just the Twins either, the whole league is struggling to score many runs. Well, except for a few of the teams with $200-300 mil payrolls. Many are blaming the cold weather & extra short Spring Training because of the lockout.
But, a win is a win.
Buxton played yesterday and the bats woke up, another strong outing by Bundy, he's 3-0! Who'da thunk it?:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: i think you need to invite that kid up and have a few grain belts together!!!! :sleazy: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Everybody had better swings except the fat kid, he did his part keeping a breeze going in Target Field.
Going for the sweep today. :happy1:
As bad as some of these hitters are I don't see how Arraez doesn't play 5-6 games a week. He always sees pitches and put a good swing on them. There are 12 other hitters that should be watching him hit every time he gets near the plate. Especially the way he uses the whole field, no way they put a shift on him. :happy1:
I got to listen to the best parts of the Saturday and Sunday games on the radio.Yup, top dog today!! :happy1:
Its a brand new race in the division now.
Arriez? is doing good at first base and he is a hitter. So what is wrong with Sano?
I'll give credit to great pitching, however they aren't seeing great pitching IMO. I worry what the team will look like when this pitching bubble of ours burst. They are doing great so far but they as a group aren't this good. Time will tell I guess. I'll take this over that crap we had to watch last season at this time.
Bundy is scheduled to star game 2 in Oakland ...I still think of this whenever I hear Bundy is going to pitch. :bonk:
The game is at 8:40 tonight. Won't be watching much of that. My bed time isn't much later than that.
They aren't winning anything this year anyway.
Well Paddock didn't last long.....Tommy John surgery yesterday. Out for the season. Doesn't look like trading Rogers for him was such a great idea.Rogers will be a FA at the end of this season & he's going to get paid pretty well. Twins must've thought that they wouldn't be able to sign him, so they traded him.
yea the Twins owners are a bunch of cheap jackwads..........Polanco will be the next one out the door because there such tightazzes!!!!1
Yeah DB, he signed an extension last year or in 2020 & is signed through 2025. As far as Rogers goes, he already has 15 saves in 17 chances & with his age & being lefthanded, somebody will offer him a big $ long term deal IMO. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him sign a 5-6 year deal for $100-120 mil.yea the Twins owners are a bunch of cheap jackwads..........Polanco will be the next one out the door because there such tightazzes!!!!1
They signed Polanco to a extension the same year they signed Kepler to his. I want to say he is signed until 2026?
OK, I'll be the guy to say it..........
Buxton has been terrible lately.
 Even the guy that was leading the AL in BA left Motown with a doughnut, going 0-9 in his last 2 games.
A win is a win but I question the use of the pitchers. You can have all the numbers you want but at some point you have to trust these starters. They have to allow them to go more than 4-5 innings if they don't want to destroy the bullpen by July. Why not trot Archer out for the 6th? If it goes bad then start the bullpen parade. If it goes well you gained at least 1 more inning the bullpen doesn't get used. Even with Sands yesterday, 4-1 isn't something thats insurmountable. Give him a chance to get out of trouble. You don't learn by reading a sheet of paper and watching, you learn by doing.
Sorry, my old school slipped out there for a minute. :pouty:
Polanco can be so good with his throws but seems almost once a game he chokes lately. Hope he can clean that up.He throws side-arm & as a result his throws often curve a bunch when he hurries them. :pouty: They tried to get him to throw more over the top a few years back when he was playing mostly SS but that really messed him up even worse.
They need to put in the electronic home plate umpire.
2 infielders on each side of second base.
No infielders starting an at bat on the outfield grass.
3 outfielders only.
No velcro batting gloves.
Timer on the pitcher
Lots of things to make it more entertaining and last less than 3 hours. With most of those we wouldn't notice the difference except for the electronic umpire.
And NO MORE SPITTING. That's disgusting :tut: :tut:
The game isn't broken. The pitch clock and 2 guys on each side of second will fix what needs fixing. The rest of the list we don't need.
With the lack of quality pitching in the game I would argue there is more than enough offense already. Lots of football scores.Heard Bremer say during a recent game that there had been 3 complete games in MLB this season at that point in time & 2 of those were shutouts. Thought he said the starter lost the other 1.
We don't need Sano back.:tut: :sorry: boys, too much time & $ invested already there. If................when he gets healthy, he'll play IMO.
So coaching the issue??cheap ass owners!!!
So coaching the issue??cheap ass owners!!!
Maeda should be a reliever anyway. He would be if this team had a decent starting staff. When he was with the Dodgers he was a starter until it was nut cuttin time (play-offs) then they sent him to the pen. With their payroll, they have 8 guys making > $15 mil/yr, it's much easier for them to sign/keep those top starters & FA's. Those 8 guys make almost $20 mil > than the entire Twins 26-man roster.
I'm no ball guy, but could they swap Sano and Arraez between 1st/designated hitter? :confused:Buxton has been DH'ing a lot lately & Miranda/Kirilloff have been getting some time at 1st too. Personally, I like their D better than Sano's over there. Guess we'll find out soon.
They will be best friends by the end of this next season. :sleazy:
Crazy. Will Fulmer be dressed for the Twins tonight against his old team?
So Gunner 3 of the 4 pitchers we are sending them are on the practice squad? Is the guy we are getting any good? Hope so. We are getting another pitcher too you say Dutch?A little more on that trade https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/34334080/sources-minnesota-twins-finalizing-deal-baltimore-orioles-closer-jorge-lopez
They picked up a starter and a closer today. Better than I thought they would do. They still need to explain why china doll can't play everyday. I'm hoping they can grab a catcher before the deadline also.
Gray wasn't his sharpest either, barely throwing 50% strikes(50/96), but he managed to make a pitch when he needed. He only gave up 1 hit & no runs in his 5 innings of work. The Blue Jays have been 1 of the hottest teams in MLB for the last 2 weeks or so, I'd love to see them even just split the series with 'em. Best thing about last night's game is that it was their 1st sellout in a while.
Looks like they made quite a few moves to the pitching staff. https://www.espn.com/mlb/team/transactions/_/name/min/minnesota-twins. Good to see Arraez get his bat going again with 3 hits. Polanco, Miranda, & Gorden all had 2 knocks a pc too. The 2 runs in the 8th were really nice to see. I'm not sure what game LPS was watching last night  but I didn't see any sign of Duffy  & the boxscore says the same thing. ;) :smiley:maybe LPS had to much firewater!!!!!!!!! :sleazy: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
OH the wife figured it out for me. I was getting Duffy and Bundy mixed up.:pouty: at least your wife like sports at least a little. my wife wouldn't know the difference between Duffey or Alan Page!!!!!! :surrender: :pouty: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Alan Page is a judge in Murderopolis and Duffy will be pitching for the Meisville Mudhens next year.:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :happy1:
I know my sports. :coffee:
OH the wife figured it out for me. I was getting Duffy and Bundy mixed up. Bundy the relative of glenn's hero Al  , confused with Tyler DuffY?? :doah: ;)

i thought i recognized his voice............ watching a former twin implode........Berrios!!!!!!!!! He went 6 2/3 giving up 6 hits but only the 2 runs in the 3rd inning to get the win. That's much better than he has been doing lately & he's struggled even worse in Yankee Stadium since he went to the Blue Jays.
i typed that in the inning he gave up the 2 runs then had the throwing error to first........then swutched to the football game, so i have no clue how he did the rest of the game!i thought i recognized his voice............ watching a former twin implode........Berrios!!!!!!!!! He went 6 2/3 giving up 6 hits but only the 2 runs in the 3rd inning to get the win. That's much better than he has been doing lately & he's struggled even worse in Yankee Stadium since he went to the Blue Jays.
Once they get Larnach & Kirilloff back thats the last you will ever see of Celestino. Larnach went on the 60-day IL on 9/1 & for Kirilloff it was 8/23, so I don't think either of them will see much more action this season.
They might talk about it in the pre-game, but I don't think it will come up in either the TV or Radio Broadcast unless the Twins make another base running blunder. Lemme know what they say.You were right, only mention of it that I heard was during the pre-game & there was no mention of who was at fault.
What a game they played last night. Good win!:happy1:  Good job by Thielbar to get out of the 8th inning but I thought Fulmer was going to walk in the tying run. Good play by Miranda to get to the bag on the last out too. Lopez pitched pretty good IMO too, but he wasn't getting ANY calls.:doah: Bundy @ 7:10 tonight.

Interesting discussion last night about possible rule changes for next year. Rules committee meets today.
2 infielders on each side of 2nd base
Infielders must have 1 foot on the dirt.
Time clock on pitchers....15 seconds with no one on base. 20 seconds with runners on
Batter can call only 1 time out and step out of box.
Mechanical strike zone.
Exclusive coverage on Apple TV +, no BSNOR tonight! :pouty:

 If Archer goes on the IL they will have the most players out of any team but it's NOT ONLY the Twins as every team has had an unusually high # of injuries this year. :doah: Heard more than 1 blame it on the lockout & shortened Spring Training.
Oh, I agree Steve-o & that's why some of the most successful players of our generation, MJ & TB12 come to mind, have gotten away from lifting a lot of weight & bulking up IMO too. Instead, they got more into cardio & stretching while closely watching what they eat. If Archer goes on the IL they will have the most players out of any team but it's NOT ONLY the Twins as every team has had an unusually high # of injuries this year. :doah: Heard more than 1 blame it on the lockout & shortened Spring Training.
Maybe. I still think "bigger, stronger, faster" plays a big role i injuries. Every play is 100% max effort.
Everyone hails defensers who crash into walls and dive into the seats to make catches, but all that contact takes a toll.
They are under .500 for the first time since April. Just aren't the same team as since then. :pouty: :pouty:
 They have 2 guys coming off the IL, Ober & Winder, scheduled to start the 1st 2 games so I hope they have good outings, or the bullpen will be shot before they even play the 2nd game of Saturday's doubleheader.
Congrats to him! Just wait til next year, management is putting up a bigger scoreboard and more uniforms for the boys, money well spent!
I'd be surprised if the Twins were willing to give Correa a long term deal - especially with Lewis waiting in the wings. Seen a recent BSN interview that he pretty much said he'd like to stay, at least for 2023, but he hadn't heard much from management so........................ I believe there'll be at least 2 or 3 other top level SS going FA next year too & that may play into it too. Personally, I'd like to see him come back.
I guess it all depends on whether or not Correa wants to go to free agency this year or next year.
3 years $100M isn't "long term" enough for some people.
He's looking for a raise AND a long term deal after an offensive down year?
g'luck.
P.S. Ask the Cardinals how that long term deal for Albert Pujols worked out. :embarrassed:
At one time Buxton was number 2 and Sano number 3 in all of minor league baseball. Twins fans thought here we go. Wouldn't be surprised if he signs somewhere and winds up being another David Ortiz. Wouldn't that be the sh*ts.Would tell us about our hitting coaches over the years.

Twins trade Urshella to the Angels for a pitching prospect.
He is eligible for arbitration but not a FA 'til after next year so that could easily be part of it but more PT for Miranda is probably a bigger part IMO.Twins trade Urshella to the Angels for a pitching prospect.
Seriously? They have less pitching than the Twins, unless Falvey got Ohtani it was just a money deal. Not wanting to pay Urshela
Tis the season for all the click & comment guys to toss out every conceivable player option with no regard for being right.yeah, yer right... typical non-story story.
We liked Cave.He would have fit in well when the Twins featured "The Paranas"
Now that the fat kid is gone, I wonder who db will have to throw darts at this season? :whistling: https://sports.yahoo.com/joey-gallo-twins-reportedly-agree-000346665.html ;)  Kind of surprised that him or Ken haven't already mentioned this move.
Not to mention, Sano is the only player in MLB history to reach 1,000 strkeouts faster than Gallo. If I remember right Miggy was scheduled to make $14 mil this season. Gallo is a career .200 hitter & Sano's career avg is .234. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/sanomi01.shtml
What they didn't need was another guy who makes Sano look like a contact hitter.:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
In addition to being a good outfielder the Twins need a DH. What they didn't need was another guy who makes Sano look like a contact hitter. Did you miss the part about Sano being the only 1 to have 1000 SOs faster than Gallo? :bonk: ;)
There will need to be a corresponding move of trading one of the outfielders to make room for Gallo to have this make any sense at all.
Carlos Correa signs with the Giants for $350M for 13 years.
Too much money. Royce Lewis will be better when he gets on the field.

 ok so i follow the Twins a little bit....... but why wasnt this an issue when he signed with the Twinkies????
 ok so i follow the Twins a little bit....... but why wasnt this an issue when he signed with the Twinkies????
Remember how the Twins' Correa signing caught everyone off guard? It was a great deal for both. The Twins never make big long-term splash deals - so no one was surprised when it was a short contract - but were applauded for going after him. For Correa's part, he needed a team where he could play and prove his health so he could chase the long term deal he wanted.
But you have to believe that the Twins saw the same medicals, stayed out of the long term trap, and kept it to themselves.
When you think of "Diva's" in the sports world these "insiders" should immediately pop into mind. The guys like Rosenthal, Heyman, Bowden all throw mud against the wall to see what sticks. I wouldn't be surprised if Boris wasn't paying them.
I don't see Correa coming to the Twins on anything but a 1 year or like he did last year.
Guess I was wrong.
Flashing back to last off season Correa / Boris were after a 300 million contract.
Last year they got 35 million of that.
Today they got another 200 million.
There also are another 70 million in extensions & options in play.
Do the math.....no matter what or how, Boris did his job.
The Twins are acquiring centerfielder Michael A. Taylor in a trade with the Kansas City Royals. The Twins are sending Kansas minor league pitchers Evan Sisk and Steven Cruz.
They've also added outfielder Joey Gallo to the lineup in free agency. The addition of Gallo and now Taylor will increase the likelihood that the Twins will trade Max Kepler.
With all those skilled outfielders... are they planning on having another pitch-to-contact pitching staff this season? :bonk: :bonk: :bonk::tut: Bundy & Archer are gone, besides that was more of Gardy philosophy...........................wish they'd been able to keep Wes Johnson though. :pouty:
I'm probably the only guy in Minnesota who would rather keep Kepler. He's young, he's cheap, he plays almost every day, very good defensibly & has shown the ability to put the ball in play. IMO you can never have to many guys who aren't strikeout prone.i'm with ya dutchy.......when i do get to watch the twins i enjoyed watching him. he has a sweet swing!!!!! i like Arreaz to but.......... :surrender: :pouty:
My OPINION only.
 Twins now have 5 lefty hitting OFs for the 2 corner spots & DH. Kepler is the oldest & most expensive. He's due $8.5 this year & there's a club option for $10 next. SF, LAD, & Seattle are all looking for OF help too. Might be able to get some pitching help in return.
OK. I didn't realize he was also up for arbitration.
I've heard several people say that despite losing a popular player, it was a pretty good deal for the Twins. I say so too... as long as the pitcher pans out.

Good article. Maddening how convoluted it all got. We had to switch to our local cable company to get Twins games. Good company too.Glad to read that Manfred has already said that if they have to step in they will & they will keep it on cable as well as setting up a streaming service.

 The latest I could find on it.https://www.tampabay.com/sports/2023/02/10/bally-sports-owner-miss-payment-next-week-associated-press/ :confused:Yeah, sometimes you gotta wonder about all those multi-billion dollar media deals. I reckon investors are just hoping for neutral cash flow so they can hold onto the asset long enough until they find a buyer who will give them more then they paid. Sooner or later the bubble is going to burst.
i have not faith in the Twinkies going anywhere until the Pohlads have nuttin to do with the team!!!!! :doah::scratch: At least they've won a WS.........................twice, much unlike the other current Mn pro sport franchises.
:pouty: :pouty: yea and how long ago was that   think i was in high school yet!!!!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao:i have not faith in the Twinkies going anywhere until the Pohlads have nuttin to do with the team!!!!! :doah::scratch: At least they've won a WS.........................twice, much unlike the other current Mn pro sport franchises.
And even if the Pohlads are gone, it is still a crap shoot. There are lots of teams that spend lots of money and not have anything to show for it.Cohen has pushed the Mets salaries this year to nearly 3 X what the Twins was last season & they lost in 3 to SD in the 1st round of the playoffs. https://nesn.com/2023/02/what-mlb-owners-told-steve-cohen-about-mets-offseason/
The difference is those teams will be in the playoff mix 4 out of 5 years. :happy1: Teams like the Twins will be relevant 1 out of 5 years. :doah:
 You were in HS in '87? :doofus:
Once again the season only boils down to two things...this one dutchy??
1) Can Baldelli not burn the bullpen to the ground by August 1st.
2) Will Buxton play over 100 games? I'm not including DH'ing which seems to be the plan.
Pitching health and health of the club will be paramount. They need to find a way to keep these guys on the field & playing.

Nope, thats not it. It was about the Pohlads & Griffith the old Met, Humpty Dump and Target Field. I must not of hit post.
I see they put Royce Lewies on the 60 day IL & claimed Braves pitcher off waivers yday. It's a noon game against the BoSox today but MLB Network has a replay at 8:30 tonight, if anyone's interested.
 Read 1 that said late June or 1st part of July if everything continues to go well for Lewis.
If its amything like it was the last couple years... there will be injuries:happy1: That's the main reason for much of this. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/neal-change-in-training-staff-could-benefit-twins-the-most/ar-AA13gwne Granted the end of June is quite a ways off & a lot of things can & probably will happen to change things by then.
I'm headed to Kansas City on the 20th for a week. By the time I return home I'll be in full spring mode mentally. Baseball will have started, it will be warmer and the snow should have started melting up here. Baseball = summer for me.you going down to visit the Boilermakers unions headquarters???? :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :sleazy: :happy1:
I watched the 9th inning last night (must have been a replay) what a clown show that was. There was some ass chewing in that Tampa dugout after that game I would guess. :rotflmao:What happened?
1-161 record huh!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao::tut: I thought you had some Gopher hockey you were going to watch. :nerd:

just read a stat that opening day baseball, stolen bases where way up. contributing factors with a pitcher only being allowed 2 pickoff attempts and the 3rd had to be an out and the bases being bigger, making the distance 4 1/2 ft shorter!!!!!1st to 2nd is 4.5 INCHES shorter, not feet. :embarrassed:
We watched a lot of the game yesterday. So nice to see the pace pick up. I really liked Arriez sp but between every pitch he had to do his gloves and all of that. Others did too. Glad to not see that anymore. mayhaps iffin you werent so glued to the game cooper wouldnt of helped himself to your supper goodies!!!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
You are right again. :sleazy::rotflmao: well your dogs brother aint any better!!!!!!!! :doah: :surrender: :rotflmao:

apparently they think the Twinkies arent worth covering!!!!!!!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao::doah: No they're just...........................cheap :moon: like you. :nerd:
So what ever happened to the guy who used to be our closer that was treaded away, Taylor Rodgers? Did he pan out as a good pitcher?they had a blurb about him pitching just last week somewhere i seen.........he threw some really nasty pitch thtamade the batter look a bit foolish!!!!! :rotflmao:
This might be a dumb question. But why is it managers don't like batting a lefty against a lefty but righty against righty is normal? I was watching a lefty the other day throwing from the far right side of the rubber as was the right-hander...
Really good pitching really went in the tank the last 2 days against one of the worst teams in MLB. :confused:They're having trouble scoring runs as the bats have went kind of quiet the last 10 games too.
Gunner the Twins aren't on. Can't you do something about that? LOL Can't even stream it unless I join MLB tv. Oh well their loss. Must be due to Hockey and NBA stuff. No Bally stations here but.......................... I can look & see how they are doing here................................https://www.espn.com/mlb/game?gameId=401471369 Not streaming but Gamecast or Play by Play will keep you pretty closely up to date. Up 4-2 on a 2 R HR that Buxton just hit after Polanco led off the 6th with a 2B.
 4-11 with RISP today, big difference!!!!:pouty: :coffee: who cares. not me!!! :doofus:
Kepler on IR.....Larnack called back up.He went 2 for 4 with 4 RBI. Only 1 without a hit was Castro & he never had an at bat. Gallo dinged his hammy late, but Rocco says he expects him to play in LA tomorrow. Another quality start from Varland. :happy1:
The Twins ran wild too, stealing 4 bases for the 1st time since 2017.Bremmer was thinking there might have been something wrong with the catcher's throwing arm. He said he was throwing side arm or even submarine to get the ball to 2nd base. He must have been hurt.
  what kind of kool-aid does one drink for the Twins?? Smurf Blue!!!!!!1 ;)
I know it's the purple kool-aid with the Vikings.
:rotflmao: :rotflmao:
I can't say I disagree with Rocco when good relievers are hurt and others are not reliable in high leverage situations. If they can get one full inning out of some of those guys without surrendering the lead, its a win for them. Much more than about 20, maybe 25 pitches, & they're usually unavailable to pitch again for 2 days the way the game is played today. Most teams don't have that kind of depth in the bullpen to be able to get away with that too much & win.
Game isn't on Bally tonight. The French Open is.ESPN says Apple TV+, 0-0 after 3.
Reusse is the only guy in town whose baseball opinion I trust. I don't know that I would release Kepler but he would quickly become my 4th or 5th outfielder with Wallner taking his place. I'm starting to tire of the Garlick fascination also. He hits the occasional homerun but not often enough to take a roster spot in my opinion.
 I heard that they kind of quietly shopped Kepler around in the off season but they didn't get many offers.....................or at least ones they liked. :confused:A bucket of rubbed-up baseballs is looking like a pretty good deal now. :embarrassed:
I agree with all of what he is saying.Cleveland's staff is #8 in MLB with a 3.79 ERA & their bullpen is #1 with 22 saves. I wondered about Wallner too, DB, as all he did was get on base just about everytime when he was called up the last time.
4 runs in the last 3 games, and they didn't even face Cleveland's ace Shawn Bever. :pouty: :pouty: :pouty:
Oh, by the way... with Luis Arraez's hit in the 6th inning of tonights game, he is now hitting .399! :doah: :happy1:
i see where ole "china doll" :rotflmao: is on the IR list!!!!!!!Maybe he's fragile, but when your only job is to bat, and you get drilled in the ribs by a baseball, it might have an adverse affect on your swing.
Just saw the banner on the Twins broadcast...
Arraez is still hitting .402! :happy1:
Listened to a Star Tribune Pat Reusse podcast rants...
He's ready to be done with Kepler - needs to be released. Who cares if he figures it out elsewhere. He ain't doing anything for the Twins.
If Correa hadn't bounce passed that one to first and got an out they wouldn't have scored all of those runs.Lewis had an error on a throw too & it was a much easier play than Correa's IMO. You can't give good teams extra outs & win very often in today's MLB. :tut:
Correa's play was a tough one, the timing seemed off. Still, you like to see him try to make it instead of holding the ball. The man on first would have scored on the subsequent home run anyway. If Correa hadn't bounce passed that one to first and got an out they wouldn't have scored all of those runs.Lewis had an error on a throw too & it was a much easier play than Correa's IMO. You can't give good teams extra outs & win very often in today's MLB. :tut:
Our lads chalked up another 4-2 victory over the WI Beer Guys! :happy1::happy1: All 4 runs scored with 2 out & they were 3-5 w/RISP. Another Quality Start as well.
Yeah......he is finally hitting the ball. Still it's the pitching that is winning ballgames. They're still 2nd in all of MLB in Team ERA & Quality Starts. Correa been getting some help at the plate from Solano, Farmer, Julien, & a couple others too. Hope they can keep it going against Detroit today. Gray gets the ball for a 6:10 start.
 It's all about the #'s in TB where they gave him his 1st job, so that's what he knows. :confused:Straight from his Wikipedia bio........................ After ending his playing career in 2011, Baldelli remained with the Rays organization as a Special Assistant for Baseball Operations and roving minor league hitting and outfield defense instructor. In December 2014, Baldelli was named the Rays' first base coach under new manager Kevin Cash, who had been Baldelli's teammate on the club in 2005.[52] Before the 2017 season, the Rays organization promoted Baldelli to the newly created role of major-league field coordinator, which involved analyzing the tendencies of opposing hitters, coaching defensive skills to players, and helping the team implement defensive strategies during games.[2]
Major League Baseball is looking into a designated runner rule. It will be called the "China Doll" rule. How it will work is Buxton no longer will need to run anywhere at anytime. The last out previous to Buxton hitting will stand alongside Buxton in the batters area. If Buxton hits the ball the designated person will run and Buxton gets to go directly back to the dugout. Should the ball be a homerun Buxton will be allowed a slow stroll around the bases thus enabling him to mug for the cameras.:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
I'm good with Kirilloff if Rocco would play him every day.I agree, we don't need Goldschmidt. Kirilloff has really struggled against lefties (.111), Solano has been quite a bit better (.279), even Gallo is at .212.
More solid contact on WWE Rasslin tonight than the Twins hitters put up against Strider. He's won his last 5 starts & does lead the league in strikeouts. Atlanta's 51 wins & 3.81 ERA has them 2nd only to TB this year too. Not to mention they've been hot, going 18-4 in June. :doah:

:tut: Don't you have some female hygiene products that you need to put on the shelf? :mooning: Instead of harassing the baseball guys. :pouty: Oh wait, it's only Tuesday!! :sleazy: :nerd: ;)  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: naw dont do that isle. i do the coffee, juice, cracker and cookie isle!!!!!!!! :happy1: :happy1:
I'm tired of watching this hitless bunch....3-0 again today. Wasted start by Maeada. Done with this. I have always recorded them and then started watching. I have stopped recording. Better things to do and to watch.

go on a hot day......watch and look at the scenery!!!!!! :smoking: :sleazy:
heck you might even catch a glimpse of a few cougars!!!!!! :happy1: :rotflmao:
Maybe he should try writing...What do ya know...
"No retreat. No surrender."
On the whiteboard in the clubhouse. :rotflmao: :bonk:
 You don't like Rocco? Him getting fired.........................I'll believe that when I see it. He's under contract through 2025 & as long as they stay competitive in the division, he's not going anywhere IMO.the one thing i see in pro sports.........contracts dont mean diddley squat!!!!!!!!! :bonk: :doofus:
The young guys are getting the job done and providing much needed offense. Julien and Kiriloff. Even Keplar is getting hits. BUT, what will they do with Julien when Polanco comes back in a couple days? And what about Lewis, when he is ready?
First thing is to can Buston and fill his spot with someone that cares. Bremer said during Monday's broadcast that it would be hard for anyone to convince him that Buxton's struggles at the plate aren't directly related to his knee issues that keep him from playing on defense & I'm not so sure he's not right.
Miranda had the inside track but to this point has failed. You always wonder about the intangibles in sports... I wonder if some of the success Miranda had last year was because he shared a clubhouse with a guy like Arraez. They always talk about locker room chemistry, how some players have the ability to make other players better.
What happened to the Twinks last night. Did the bats go completely cold again or was it more that they ran into buzz saw pitching?Never mind. I found it... :pouty::pouty:
Only 5 hits. Scattered, I'm assuming.
:pouty:
 https://www.si.com/fannation/bringmethesports/twins/twins-all-star-sonny-gray-hasnt-ruled-out-retirement :confused:Have to take him at his word. Maybe a lot depends on his wife continuing to want to live the MLB lifestyle, having the kids 100% of the time when dad is gone. I can imagine that would be tough. And I'm sure he doesn't want to miss out completely on their growing up either.
meh.......its the twins.........until the Griffins sell the team it wont matter.......they'll get bounced in the first round anyway!!!!!even if they make the playoffs!!!!!!! :pouty:  :happy1::scratch: Guess that means you don't remember much of 1987 & 1991 then either. :pouty: :nerd: :mooning: That's 2 more than that other Mpls team.

:rotflmao: :happy1: I know dutchy, just ruffling Gunners feathers :sleazy: :rotflmao::pouty: :tut:  ;)
When it is a tie after 9 and they put a guy on second it pisses my purist buddy off. I told him I love it cuz by then I am ready to get the game over. :rotflmao: :rotflmao::scratch: I wasn't a fan early on.................kind of like it now. :happy1:
Me also, but thats what you get when the commish is trying to copy football with offense. I think that the NFL should take a defensive player off the field during overtime.

Twins trade Jorge Lopez to Miami for reliever Dylon Floro.Ball guys... help me out with this one.
Twins trade Jorge Lopez to Miami for reliever Dylon Floro.Ball guys... help me out with this one.
Is this just two teams trading similar pitchers in the hopes that a change of scenery will be better for both of them?
Yep, those bat swingers need to start thinking about being able to beat the Orioles, Rays, Jays, and Rangers. The Twins' gaudy 6-games-over-500 record is still only good for 4th place in both the AL East/West.
if they do i may just jump on the bandwagon!!!!!!!! :sleazy:  :happy1: :rotflmao:Yep, those bat swingers need to start thinking about being able to beat the Orioles, Rays, Jays, and Rangers. Nothing matters except making the play-offs. You can't beat anybody unless you qualify for the play-offs.
 :doah: Nooooooo!!!!! :banghead: They always play better when you're badmouthing 'em. :pouty: :nerd:  ;) :evil: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

They still are in first place. Nothing else mattersThey're 5-5 for their last 10 games, that ties Detroit & KC for the best record in the division. Cleveland got walked off in TB last night & are 3-7 for their last 10.
.
Either they're the best of the worst, or the worst of the best. It doesn't really matter. :coffee:They still are in first place. I see in the Strib they are calling it a 13-2 "romp". The wife said is was an azz kicking. LOLI thought a "romp" was when both sides had a little fun... :sleazy:
Buxton will play when he's ready. That's what I'm afraid of. A nicked-up Donovan Solano went 3 for 5 yesterday as DH.
i got more fsith in the Vikings winning the super bowl then the Twins winnung a first round playoff series!!!!!!!1 :happy1:  :rotflmao:
nope on the drinking.......and maybe!!!!!!!!! :happy1: :rotflmao:i got more fsith in the Vikings winning the super bowl then the Twins winnung a first round playoff series!!!!!!!1 :happy1:  :rotflmao:
Glenn, you day drinking or just boning up on your Boranese  :rotflmao:
:tut: Taylor isn't going anywhere, he's too good in CF. Castro will be back soon too, his versatility in the field allows Rocco to make a lot moves when they're batting. Plus, he leads 'em in stolen bases. Lewis at 3rd, Polanco at 2nd, & Solano at DH last night. Wallner was sitting on that fastball & when it got a little more of the plate than they wanted, he crushed it. :happy1: :cool:So does that leave Byron on the bench pinch hitting/running  (assuming he can hit and run when he comes back :doah:)?
Was a fun game. :doah: Sssssh!!!!!!1 Don't tell glenn. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
With the heat returning it will be good to get Buxton back fanning the air.Maybe we're saying the almost the same thing, but I think the Twins can make a more serious push this year without Buxton. However, they won't make it very far. How many teams have make deep playoff runs without any production - offense or defense - from one of their star players.
Seriously tho, if the Twins were to make a run it will be his bat that leads the offensive way.
The electronic strike zone is just another joke MLB will refuse to explain. Has anybody, anybody at all ever watched a replay of a play that was challenged and said " thats a no brainer they will overturn that" only to have it upheld with no explanation.i gree dutchy...except this hernandez guy!!!!!!!
I'm 1,000% against replays, challenges and any electronic zones. It's a game played by humans, let it be officiated by humans.
Ya gotta love a guy named Kody Funderburk on your squad. ... You see a lot of guys do well in their debut, but get hit a little harder after the league has time to watch their tape. Good luck Kody.Looks like Kole Calhoun did his homework. :doah:
He is in rehab. Coming back soon like Buxton. No sign of Gallo on the IL, that I could find. https://www.espn.com/mlb/team/injuries/_/name/min/minnesota-twins
Buxton pulled from AAA Saints game with sore knee. LOLOL. He won't be back.he's worse then Maurer was at the end of his career!!!!!! and all the money they gave him. they should trade him for a couple baseballs!!!!!!! :bonk:
Buxton pulled from AAA Saints game with sore knee. LOLOL. He won't be back. The boys on the broadcast - i think - were beating around the bush at this last night when they were talking about how Baldelli is going to have tough choices in picking the players who are contributing most to be on the playoff roster.
I mixed up Bieber and BibeeAnd I was thinking... How could you mix up these guys?
There goes my afternoon. Another benefit of being a retired and a Twins fan. Good excuse to take it easy.:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: maybe if or when they make the playoffs i might be able to watch them on one of the 200 channels we get!!!!!! :pouty:
Bremer says magic number isI heard that too, & it looks like I went right from 11 to 9 when both teams won.. :doofus: :doah: However, Cleveland's bullpen gave up a 4-run lead in the bottom of the 7th inning today to lose 6-5 to SF in a later game, so it should be 9 now. ;)

Keuchel can barely get anyone out. Even his outs are hard line drives. He would be at the bottom of the list. Baily Ober would be number 4 behind Lopez, Gray, and Ryan.Ober's arm is dead as he's pitched the most innings of his career & more than double the innings of last season. Keuchel has given up 2 runs or less in 4 of his 7 starts, plus he's lefthanded.
I guess we will see tonight as Ober will start tonight's game against the White Sox.I didn't see it anywhere that they'd recalled him yday but I did look & he's pitched pretty well for the Saints the last few times, so I'm not surprised. I would be surprised if they let him get to a very high pitch count though, probably ~ 70-80 pitches.
Maeda pitched pretty well last night. :happy1:
No they will never need a 5th starter in the play-offs. They will have a starter type ready in case of a blow out. They will do what they can to get to Thielbar in the 7th, Jax in the 8th and Duran to finish up.What about Pagan? Has he lost their confidence? Or maybe they go with Jax or Pagan depending on who they fell best about at the time.
 Better? :doah: ;) :rotflmao: :rotflmao:still wore out from your night in Inger?????? :doah: :sleazy: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :mooning:
OberTwo Fringe Players for Twins Must Take to the Postseason (https://twinsdaily.com/news-rumors/minnesota-twins/two-fringe-players-for-twins-must-take-to-the-postseason-r15002/)
Keuchel off the team
Magic number.....But Lewis hurt. Now it's 3& Lewis is listed as day-to day with left hamstring tightness.

What is WCS Gunner? With the new format it's now the Wild Card Series, Division Series, League Championship Series, & of course the World Series.
Actually Steve-o, I just read that he's going to play for the Saints today. https://www.espn.com/mlb/team/injuries/_/name/min/minnesota-twins  Whether or not that includes playing CF it doesn't say. Probably not right away IMO.
Well, Detroit is 9 1/2 games back. So for the Twins to clinch....both Cleveland and Detroit need to lose today.I've been so worried about those dangerous Guardians that I forgot all about those pesky Tigers. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Plus IF they could get healthy - and I know that is a big ask for this team... they have some depth.
Miranda was a big part of their resurgence last year and they got nothing out of him this year. You'd hope he could figure out how to turn that around next year.
Should get starting pitcher Tyler Mahle back next year to replace the departing Sonny Gray.
We have been watching the Cleveland scores. Now with the magic number at 1, Twins don't play today. Baltimore plays Cleveland who are 9 games back. Well, Detroit is 9 1/2 games back. So for the Twins to clinch....both Cleveland and Detroit need to lose today.I watched the O's/Cleveland game, Ken, it was on Fox. The O's bullpen couldn't get the job done in the 8th , so it not gonna happen 'til tomorrow.
I would guess they would rather celebrate on the field tomorrow or whenever they play their next game. :happy1: :happy1:
I tuned out at the end of 7. I would love to see what Kirilloff could do if he was healthy for a full season.think i seen where the "Rodents" :rotflmao: are on the big10 network?????????
Noonish game today followed by the Rodents struggling with Northwestern at 6:30 I think.
:pouty: Duran sure kept it interesting last night. :doah: Probably a little TOO AMPED up, hope he learns how to harness that , as we're going to need him in October.Maybe it's just my MN lunch-pail sensibilities taking over, but I'd like to see them get rid of all that hype when Duran comes in the game. WAY too much production - and he certainly doesn't need the added pressure. It would have been one thing if he'd have stuck out the side in 13 pitches, but he didn't. He had a hard time FINDING the strike zone.
What was the deal with Farmer "managing" the other night with Polanco?
Sweet!!! If I got time. Maybe I won't watch, better chance of them winning. :happy1: :rotflmao:If it was ANYONE else, I'd say to go ahead and enjoy the game. But since you are the K.O.D. (Kiss of Death ) for MN sports teams, we'd appreciate it if you found something else better to do. ;)
:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:Sweet!!! If I got time. So, who is the DH? I read where they didn't think Lewis looked healthy enough to play 3B on Sunday, so if he made the roster, it would probably be as the DH. Julien at 2B & Polanco at 3rd is what they were guessing.
Bremer & Morneau have been griping about the start times that the Twins always get for the playoffs :bs: since before they clinched. If it's a sunny day the shadows between home plate & the mound will likely make scoring many runs late pretty difficult. Best hope for some cloudy days or that they score a bunch early. :cheerleader:Looks like they got the clouds AND are scoring runs early!
so.......if i only tuned it in at the top of the 8th inning and they won does that mean i'm no longer the K.O.D.? :rotflmao: :rotflmao:Sweet!!! If I got time. Maybe I won't watch, better chance of them winning. :happy1: :rotflmao:If it was ANYONE else, I'd say to go ahead and enjoy the game. But since you are the K.O.D. I don't know, but that certainly does explain Guerrero's lead off double against Jax. :bonk: :kiss:so.......if i only tuned it in at the top of the 8th inning and they won does that mean i'm no longer the K.O.D.? :rotflmao: :rotflmao:Sweet!!! Pull up a chair, as long as the pitching and defense holds you will be OK. :smiley:they did it!!!!!!!!! :happy1: :happy1: :happybounce: :dancinred:
i turned on the Twins, seen they were up 2-0. watched Gray pick the runner off second for the 3rd out. turned it off for good fortuneThanks for turning off the game. ;)
 Sure glad they pulled Berrios!! :bonk:Yep, kinda when like the Ruskies pulled Tretiak in the 1980 olympic hockey game. :happy1: :rotflmao: :woot:
Twins pickoff play......Well the crowd was so loud that he couldn't hear him and he got caught. Great play.Well, A-Rod was quick to point out that getting picked off 2nd was Little League 101, and he wasn't wrong, but as you pointed out - while there might not be excuses for bad things happening, there are reasons. :happy1: :rotflmao:
Pitchers.....My Guess.... The MLB Network seemed to think that there was a chance of Ober getting the Game 1 start, as of yday. I couldn't find anywhere this AM where Rocco had named his starters yet.
Ryan vs Verlander in game 1
Lopez in game 2
Gray in game 3
I about put it on mute though when I heard A-Rod in the booth!! :puke: :angry2: :banghead: :banghead:
:happy1:  Seen that earlier too, Adam Amin will be doing the play-by-play.I about put it on mute though when I heard A-Rod in the booth!! :puke: :angry2: :banghead: :banghead:
Former Twin A.J. Pierzynski will be an analyst alongside former Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright for the Twins-Astros series.
That is an awesome event when they do that. Gives me goose bumps. That's cool stuff! To go ripping by at the right moment always steals the show for me.
Twins announce plans for Games 3 and 4 at Target Field (https://www.kare11.com/article/sports/mlb/twins/twins-announce-plans-for-games-3-and-4-at-target-field/89-b3e95521-10b5-48a5-9044-886363e35d38)i sure hope Mauer doesnt get bi-lateral leg weakness doing that!!!!!! :sleazy: :doah:  :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Game 3: Tuesday, 3:07 p.m. at Target Field
Johan Santana will throw out Game 3’s ceremonial first pitch to Joe Mauer.
Two F-16 Fighting Falcons from the Minnesota National Guard’s 148th Fighter Wing, based out of Duluth, will wow the Target Field crowd.*
Game 4: Wednesday, 1:07 p.m. at Target Field. The start time could be flexed to 6:07 p.m. if Texas sweeps Baltimore with a win Tuesday.
Gary Gaetti and Dan Gladden will reunite at Target Field for Game 4’s ceremonial first pitch. The pitch will be thrown by Gaetti. Gladden will catch Gaetti’s pitch.
*A few years back the, F16s passed over my house on their way to Target Field while the National Anthem was being played. I had the game on and didn't know there was going to be a fly over until I heard the roar of fighter jets overhead and looked out to see the planes. It took me a couple of moments to connect the dots. :happy1:
 & I was hoping you wouldn't be watching!!! :nerd:  ;)  :laugh:its not raining or wind blowing a 100 so i may not!!!!!!!!!! :mooning: :rotflmao:
Good lord, 4 zip already!! Glenn must be tuned in.. :bonk::rotflmao: :rotflmao: :tut: i tuned in it was already 4-0!!!!!!!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
I'm hopin you have to work or something tomorrow.Good lord, 4 zip already!! Glenn must be tuned in.. :bonk::rotflmao: :rotflmao: :tut: i tuned in it was already 4-0!!!!!!!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
 Might work? :doofus: I know it was the same for both teams, but the Twins looked like they were really having trouble with the shadows in the 1st couple innings to me. :sad:really :surrender: :bs:.......they played all season with that.... and houston didnt seem to have issues!!!!!!
I thought they started at 1. Someone told me that. Thanks for the update. It changed after Texas swept the Orioles. If the O's had won it would've been a 1:00 game.
Both Wainwright & Pierszynski said something about the shadows a couple of times early. Then again after about the 3rd inning Pierszynski said again that he thought that the Twins were having trouble seeing the ball. He did catch a lot of games at Target Field, probably not many in October though. Sometimes, how/ where the pitcher releases the ball can even make a difference.:scratch: Might work? :doofus: I know it was the same for both teams, but the Twins looked like they were really having trouble with the shadows in the 1st couple innings to me. :sad:really :surrender: :bs:.......they played all season with that.... and houston didnt seem to have issues!!!!!!
Altuve & Alvarez hit good pitches but Abreu & Tucker's pitches got way too much of the plate. :pouty: Javier on the other hand, made good pitches when he needed to. Ryan goes today, back on FS1 @ 6:00.Yeah, sometimes you have to tip your hat to the hitter. But from the pitching side, its the difference between being good and great. Verlander navigates 2 innings with runners on base and gets out scoreless and Sonny spots 'em 4 out of the chute. Still, I don't blame Sonny for the loss, but he did put them in a hole. Twins hitters have to hit with runners in scoring position. That, to me, is the difference so far.
Yeah, I've been hearing the "shadows" comments a lot recently on broadcasts. They like to say there are no excuses in sports, but there are reasons. But if you can't see the ball, you can't see the ball. Bottom line is... for as improved as the Twins hitters have been since the All Star Break, I think the Astros have more good hitters than the Twins. Both Wainwright & Pierszynski said something about the shadows a couple of times early. Then again after about the 3rd inning Pierszynski said again that he thought that the Twins were having trouble seeing the ball. He did catch a lot of games at Target Field, probably not many in October though. Well the season is over. Nice while it lasted. Done watching baseball till next season.:happy1:  Yeah, still a fun season. Think I'll be pulling for Bochy & the Rangers, Astros have been there enough lately.
 What about the Phillies DH? He had 215 SO's & a .197 BA, but he also scored 104 runs & had 108 RBI's. So, did he have a bad year? https://www.espn.com/mlb/player/_/id/33712
Too bad , I enjoyed listening to him, 40 years is a long time doing anything though. Wonder who'll replace him?Yes, I wonder too.

Minneapolis was supposed to build them a stadium that increased the value of their franchise by how many billion?
:pouty:
There aren't any rules in baseball that say they can't go all-in when they have something good going. :coffee:
There also is no rules stating that they can't spend and buy at the trade deadline if they are in contention.
I reckon he'll get it, and prolly more than a one year deal.Ohtani got offered the same exact amount as Gray & so did 5 others. It's called a "qualifying offer" & has been part of the MLBPA last 3 CBAs as to how it is figured. If they turn it down & sign elsewhere the team they are leaving receives some Draft compensation. https://www.mlb.com/news/2023-24-qualifying-offer-candidates-and-decisions Explains it pretty well.
We all know I don't know nothin about nothin - expecially baseball - but that Twins offer looks to me like a meaningless token gesture.

No way, were they going to sign him for that kind of money. He made $3.5 mil last year, so that's > than 2 X(128%) raise. That is a pretty hitter friendly park too.Yeah, and despite my off and on criticism of him last year, he saved their bacon many times - even if some of the innings were nail-biters. I'm all about making good baseball decisions. Time for the Brain Wizards to earn THEIR money again.
Diamond Sports Group, the owner of 18 regional sports networks (RSNs) including Bally Sports North, has agreed a deal that will allow it to emerge from bankruptcy and is set to pave the way for MLB, NHL and NBA games to be streamed on Amazon Prime.
Twins, Wolves, Wild and Lynx games could soon be made available on Prime.

I wonder who.

 I read somewhere that there had been some talk of whoever ended up getting the broadcast rights keeping the same production crews, including the announcers as Bally had doin it.
Bally Sports North will carry Minnesota Twins games in the 2024 MLB season, which will be available for cable and streaming TV subscribers whose packages include BSN.
There will be no "direct-to-consumer" option for Twins games in 2024. Games will not be shown on Bally Sports Plus, nor will a separate option be made available this season for fans who want to stream Twins games and Twins games alone.
Out-of-market fans who are outside of the blackout areas will still be able to stream Twins games via MLB.TV or MLB Extra Innings.

If it is a quad they will be very very cautious with him. They can go on for months being a problem.Report: Royce Lewis missing 2 months likely a 'positive outcome' (https://athlonsports.com/mlb/minnesota-twins/inside-twins/news/report-royce-lewis-missing-2-months-likely-a-positive-outcome)
Bad news is he got hurt, good news is they have depth in the infield.

The reason I switched to cable was to get the Twins games. We had Dish so were losing the Twins games. You have to follow the part of the story where the Twins front office had a chance to switch to a provider that would be more fan-friendly, but the opted to maximize THEIR profits, slash the payroll, pocket the money, and leave the fans in the cold.

Buxton is to have an MRI on his right knee after being removed from today's game, according to ESPN. He's listed as day-to -day right now but I'd bet that'll change, probably as early as tomorrow. :scratch:yea..Dutchy's got the old CHINA DOLL about all teed up!!!!!!! :happy1: :rotflmao:
