Geesh. Da Vikes haven't even been thumped in the playoffs yet and we are already ouching next year. Not good.

    Who knows, we may be better than we think.  Those are some pretty tough teams to play next year.  BUT things on teams change every year.  They may not be as good next year.

For the first time in a long time - probably since Bret Favre's first year with the team - the Vikings have played a season above their potential.  That is a testament to them (and a coach who empowers, inspires, and motivates rather than dictating and punishing).

Will they be exposed again in the playoffs?  Probably.  Eventually.  Their losses to the Eagles, Cowboys, and Packers demonstrated that it has happened.  But like the cliché says:  On any given Sunday...

Its been a fun season.  They had some of the best wins in games the league has ever seen.  They have a home playoff game.  Skol!

This team seems to do well with bulletin board material.

Giants don't seem to be a team that has quick strike weapons to get back in the game if they fall behind early.

Pull out all stops and strike for 14 quick points and then control Barkley and hang on.

Let Glenns Cousin Kirk throw for 200 yards and 3 bombs in the first quarter. Then turn Cook loose on them.

Sounds good to me.  Glenn's cousin needs to have a good game and be able to get some passes off before the D is on him.

Cook has struggled ever since the OL injuries started, but he's had a bad left shoulder for most of the season too. Mattison looked good last week & he's about to be a FA, so I wouldn't be that surprised to see him get some more PT. It sounds like Bradbury practiced yday & they got a couple guys back on the DL this week as well.

Well probably Vikes last home game tomorrow. Will have to go to San Fran next week if they win. Of course they could win there and hope someone other than the Eagles win so they could play at home in the NFC championship game.

As I recall & you guys can correct me if I'm wrong but, haven't you guys been saying all season the defense sucks? So whats happened lately to make you think they have changed?

I expect Staley from the Chargers to be fired soon. He's a young defensive guy.

Nope. Don't care where Dantzler was. He doesn't block on the O-Line.

It was the gawd awful horrendous defense.

Glad to see you finally came around regarding your cousin Kirk. He had about as much to do with this as your sister Erin.    

Anyway, had any of us been told the Vikings would win 13 games before the season started we all would have signed up for that.
