                                          Question Of The Day

It has come to the attention of The Grave Diggers during one of our counsel meetings that we have many very timid competitors in the challenge competition. For example let's take a look at "Meet Da Fawkers".  When it comes to the smackdown thread they are nowhere to be found. Does this represent a lack of leadership on their team?  Are they just to paranoid to enter the fray? Have they just lost their edge or did they never have one in the first place? Could it be that they are just afraid to get picked on a little? Do they even have a spokesperson that represents the teams interest?

If anyone out there has the answer to any of these questions please share it with the rest of the competition. 

They may have to change their team name to Beat Da Fawkers or The Smackless Wonders.

Hmmm, appears the lippy one (Lippy Lee) has called out MeeT daFawkers. That's fine. Would it be OK if we just caught a bunch of really big fish and sunk all the Bismarcks to the bottom of the sea? 

As things stand now, I'll admit we are not in the position we would like to be in. But there is a lot of season left and as I recall one of my teammates bagged a big pike late last season, and certainly none of us are strangers to the occasional big walleye. You know what they say - that's why we play the game. It's not even the middle of the third quarter...

Oh, you think the smack down thread is your ally? But you merely adopted the smack down thread; Fawkinnae was born in the smack down thread, molded by it. Fawkinnae didn't see the other threads until he was a man, and by then it was nothing to him. . .

                 Just a brief progress update on the Eye-Hunt -Bass Challenge Team.


Despite all the in-fighting amongst the current team members as to who is and is not contributing to the sparse efforts. This floundering group tries to find their way.

  It seems that they have pulled out all the stops and going back to basics to see if they've left any stone unturned in their quest for success.

During a discussion with several members of the staff it was brought to our attention that our search may be over. You see, we were looking for a place to hold this years Fishing Challenge awards banquet. Then from out of nowhere it just came to us! Deadeye has just purchased a beautiful upgrade trailer that's just the right size. Last year after the banquet some of the guys had a few to many drinks and should not have driven home.

This trailer would be the answer to our prayers. With the sleeping facilities nobody will be at risk to drive home if they are intoxicated or sick to their stomach.   The only thing we have to do is float this past deadeye and "were in like Flynn".

If you guys have any thoughts on this please post them here because we'd like to get your input. It might not be a bad idea to thank deadeye in advance for all his help.

  What a great idea Lee.  Deadeye's team won't be winning any awards that night so we  better have him get a spare set of keys made for  the "Union Thugs" .  The girls will need a set of keys too.   .

Well....Well..... Well! How much worse can things get for The Thugs.   As of this morning the Aquaholics have posted another upgrade.    At this point it's looking as if  The Thugs have reached an insurmountable impasse and are beyond the beyond as far as any hope for recovery.



The Thugs have taken a hard right turn in the competition and just kept on going.

So to hear you lost your big eye. To be honest with you that big eye always looked as if it were ready to fall out anyhow. I would recommend you wear an eye patch though because now you look like crap.

                                               Huge Thugs Garage Sale!

It was just a matter of time before the thugs decided to throw in the towel. They have been busy baking and printing t-shirts in preparation for this weekends Union Thugs Joint Garage Sale. After looking at the standings on The Challenge Leader Board they decided to sell off all their fishing tackle.

Along with the sale of fishing tackle they've been busy in the kitchen baking & decorating a variety of Tooth cake pops along with Boar cupcakes.  Unfortunately due to a lack of skills Glenn did manage to swipe a large stack of union T-shirts to throw into the pot. He claims that he printed them but we all know better.

I would have to admit that all three of you had the worst luck ever in the random team drawings at the beginning of the Challenge.

It took me a while but I finally got the graves dug for the other six teams. I got so excited about moving into the top spot soon that I lost count. Dug twenty instead of eighteen.

Got an e-mail from greatoutdoors yesterday. It seems that he wanted to know how many inches of a lead his team has. You see when he quit school he had only learned addition and never got as far as subtraction.

What's up with the replies.  Is this the new smackdown responds now. Me thinks some here have just about run out of juice and lost their smack-ability skills. Maybe it's just laziness or your brains are getting to old    If you can't keep up then keep out! There is no excuse for lack of smack. Especially here on the MNO smackdown thread.

Greatoutdoors can't smack any more but, we still like him So, we made him our MNO sweeper.
