Early this morning I dry brined the lake trout. I am now waiting for them to get tacky before going in the smoker. Should be just fine eating when done later today. I also will put the remaining slabs that don't fit in the smoker on grill around noon today.

The-Lake trout.
Did I miss the lake trout fishing story?

Gonna do a nice beef pot roast.  One of my faves.  Need to get carrots and I have some spuds already.  Will use our red onions in it too.

I debated between and pork or beef roast.  Beef won in the end.

Let me read this again.  You love cooked carrots in small pieces like in stew or soup.  Pot roast is almost a stew just not cut up.  So what is the the measurement that dictates whether it is too big?   :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:  1/2"  3/4" 1".  LOL
