My cousin and his son had a kid working for them whose Dad passed away, and the bank is going to lay claim to his property next week. So the kid had them over and told 'em to take anything and everything they want. Well, out in the barn shop.....they uncovered, in what appears to be perfect condition, an early Moto-ski snowmobile...with 242 miles on the odometer. He said even the seat is perfect, no cracks or anything. Orange with black seat, from what he tells me, I believe it may be a 1970-73 340. Having him get me serial # so I can verify date. They will be getting it running and sending me pics. He wants to know if anyone would like to buy it....please let me know if you know of anyone interested. He lives in Pine City, Mn.

I believe your pic is a '75/76. In '71 they were bought by Skidoo. This is a '70. It Looks JUST LIKE the PIC I POSTED.
A 1970 Moto Ski Zephyr with the 338 Hirth (28 HP) engine.

It's my cousins sled. And he's a big bad-azz wild man hunter that smokes his own stuff. You two would be inseparable.

He's one of the best hunters and fisherman I've ever seen (cousins son, in his 30's) Ducks, geese, bear, deer, rabbit, squirrel, grouse, pheasant, turkey, etc. Eats and smoke everything. Lives in a cabin in the woods. Has a terrific gun collection, including an actual AK-47 he deer hunts with. I've ice fished, rode motorcycle and atv with him, got drunk, hit the bars, chased women...you 'd never know he's my nephew half my age. He was a state wrestling champ, and worked out with Brock lesnar...really. Coached HS wrestling for a few years before heading out into the woods. He's one guy you'd never want to come after ya. O ya, Boar...big biker, too...That's Johnny on the right, Christmas day some years ago..forgot what lake we were fishing on. Too many beers. Killed the perch and norderns, though.... :happy1:

I really want to see what it looked like. I love it when people find old stuff in barns and bring it back in to use. :cheesy:
