College Basketball
Big night tonight for Women's BB.

Iowa vs LSU.......Eastern Final from Albany, NY.

Watched Good Morning America. Lead story this morning was not politics or weather like every other day. It was this Women's BB Game. Will probably be the most watch women's game on TV.

ESPN at 6:15.

LSU beat Iowa in last year's championship game. Should be a good one,

Minnesota State Mankato wins BOTH Women's and Men's National Championships. Only done 1 other time.....1984.

Great job Mankato.....both my wife and daughter have degree's from there. Mine is from St. Cloud.

We were channel surfing and saw the mens game the other day.  We kept tuning back into it.  They were a ways behind for awhile. Then it was a great ending with the winning shot.  Did a lot of partying there in the day.  :sleazy:

Players on the men's team were the 2 brothers from Waseca. They collaborated for the winning 3 pointer with .8 seconds left. :happy1: :happy1:

If Reese had taken the effort she put into trying to get into Clark's head into the game, they might've had a chance to win it. Didn't faze Clark in the least. Congrats to Iowa! :happy1:

They're sayin the game set betting records too. In the highly anticipated rematch of last year's championship game, Monday's Elite Eight battle between LSU and Iowa was the most-watched women's college basketball game on TV ever, ESPN said.

According to the network, 12.3 million people tuned in to watch the game that featured LSU star Angel Reese going up against Iowa phenom Caitlin Clark. At its peak, it garnered 16.1 million viewers.  :happy1: :cool:

It's been difficult to follow without livestreaming & paying for it altho I believe the last game could've been live streamed for free on the Mountain West network. I gotta look but I think we get ESPN+ as part of the package now. :scratch: Good to see them get a few wins under their belt after their season imploded following the injuries  to Braun & Hart.

Be interesting if the second game between Iowa and UConn will draw over 12.3 million viewers that set the record last weekend.

I saw that the average price for tickets at the women's semifinals is $1,131.78. Most expensive seats are $11,000.
