ok my fellow so called football experts!!!!!!!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: its soon time to test your expertise. I will be donating a $25.00 Visa gift card to da winner!!!!!! if anyone else would like to donate i wont object!!!!!! :happy1:
so there are 4 rounds/weekends.
week 1 is the wild card round.....for each correct pick you earn 1 pt.
week 2 is the divisional round....for each correct pick you earn 2 pts
week 3 is the conference championship.....for each correct pick you earn 4 pts
round for is the super bowl.pick that correctly you get 8 pts.
all yea gotta do is pick the right winners :happy1:
i'm gonna do something different this year in the event there is a tie. in the event of a tie after the super bowl i'm gonna do the boar dippy rule, :doofus: :doofus: pick the winner and add half and final score, that will be the tie breaker.......whomever is closest.
so.............tomorrow when the teams are set....i'll post the schedule. ALL PICKS MUST BE POSTED PRIOR TO THE KICKOFF OF THE FIRST GAME OF EACH WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!

I have Direct TV also. Had Dish, but when they dropped Fox Sports Regional channels, now Bally Sports, that was the end of Dish for me. No Twins games for a summer. I also have NBC on Channel 11 out of Fargo.

i just talked to my son, he has midco.....5 miles up the road in richmond..he has the same issue with channel 11. but doesnt get the NFL network that has the thursday night games..........

I would much rather have the flow of the game keeping things moving than stopping for replays every other play. Baseball & Football are turning into the NBA where it takes 30 minutes for the last minute of game action. That for me is no fun. Now with all the leagues climbing into bed with the gamblers it will only get worse. No thanks.

dont know if you guys heard this during one of last weeks playoff games, believed it was the Arizona game. the super bowl is being played in their stadium. the announcers said this is only the second time in the super bowl era that a playoff game was being played in the same stadium the super bowl is in the same year.

One thing I noticed this year, that was different from last year, is that last year they really milked the post game celebration on air. I remember the big, long, ceremonial march to bring the trophy to the podium where all the players touched it and kissed it (or maybe that was pre-pandemic), but this year, they got thru the necessary presentations and speeches quickly so NBC could switch over to their Olympic broadcasts. *yawn*
