My wife and I headed north to the cabin last Friday to paint the ceilings and walls. I had a few traps to check on our way north. Caught two nice 2 year-olds. When we got to the cabin I went and set 4 traps on the pond on the back of our land while Teresa started cutting In the edges. We finished all the priming and 1 coat of paint before bed.
We woke up at730 thenext morning. Teresa started painting while I checked the traps. Caught 2 more beavers. Ended up skinning the 4 beavers Saturday night.
Sunday I pulled the traps and had 2 more. We were on the road before 8 am.
Finished all the painting and caught 6 beaver. Also relieved a lot of stress.
Here are a few pictures.

I just read tonight in the local newspaper that the County is paying $75 per tail of beavers caught here. I think you get to keep the pelt. You are the first one I thought of.
