Got up to the lake out of Hillman's about noon on Saturday.? We were about 6 miles out and on the north side of the road.? Picked up the first slab about 1:30 pm on a rattler & plain red hook.? ?Didn't get any other slabs until after six and the then got three more from 6 to 10 P.M.? One was caught on a red glow jig and the rest were on rattle reels & plain red hook.? Picked up 6 more between? 10 pm and 6 am. all were on rattlers with a plain red hook. The perch went crazy at about 6:30 p.m.? We must have caught about 2 dozen in about 20 minutes.? No size to them though. Packed up about 8:30 and proceeded to get majorly stuck.?
