What kind of dog food do you feed your hunting dog?
I've been feeding Nutri Source (Chicken & Rice) for about 2 years now. My Weim is just under 60#'s and gets 3 cups per day, I switch to performance for the hunting season on Sept 1st through the end of the year.
I've tried Iams, Purina, and Eukanuba in the past, but Nutri Source has seemed to be best.
The only negative about Nutri Source is they only sell it at Gander Mountain ($27.99) for a 35 pound bag.

:) checker board square, and alpo high protine pluse table scraps.

I feed both my dogs Diamond. They each get 2 cups a day.
Spinach - Houle's Farm Garden and Pet out on Hwy 36 carries Nutri Source. It's a little cheaper out there plus your 11th or 12th bag is free.

I know the place, thanks for the tip. A free bag once in a while is always good.

I use 3 different foods in my kennel.
Purina, Purina One and Iams. I don't get into debates over food just use foods that have worked for individual dogs in my kennel. Also remeber I use 500-600 pounds per month These companies have been good to me.

I use the Diamond competition (name??) during the hunting season. It is the one with the highest protein.
