we plowed three miles of good road out to the northwest coming off of Highbanks access today.
70 feet wide, strategicly winding around structure this year, we are taking a slightly different angle going out.
in years past, we plowed directly over some prime humps and decided to try to avoid them with the road as to keep them fishable.
we will be working on the road system now a buit each day, checking as we go so you can travel out there with confidence.
lots of people fishing now, some with wheelers, some with snow mobiles and a bunch of trucks with wheel houses.
travel off the roads is very do-able, however travel into un driven areas with caution.
still could be possible to find ice thinner than might make you comfortable.
when in doubt, check it out. walk and drill. that's what we do.
the bite is on!
